I have written 3 non-fiction books. ALL of the stories that you will hear are from those books and they are ALL true. This one, in particular, is from a book entitled “Garry Owen”. It’s an autobiographical account of my time in the Army from the day I was drafted until a reunion 45 years later. A VERY unlikely story, but true never-the-less.

Many opportunities can be derived from being a musician, especially if the instrument you play is unusual. I was truly blessed by having the chance to learn the bagpipes. Unusual, yes, but you must be on your guard at all times.

We experience many milestones in our lives, marriage for example. This story is about my son’s wedding. I think we all appreciate that this special day is really centered around the Bride. My love of Theater has required my moving around to find just the right show to audition for, and if cast, it can be an extremely rewarding experience. While living in Georgia I had access to many local community theaters, Winder-Barrow Community Theater was one in particular. Nothing better than a cup of coffee and an evening in the theater, IF you can get one.
