Storm Chasers Chat (WNBA)

Recently, I was invited to discuss the Seattle Storm and the WNBA on KVRU 105.7 FM. Maggie Mertens hosts The Forecast, a Weekly show covering Women’s Sports in Seattle. I was the special guest a couple of weeks ago, and we talked about everything going on with the WNBA, the CBA negotiations, the Storm’s new Head Coach, the potential roster makeup, and more. The interview goes for nearly 40 minutes, and I wanted to share it with my audience as well. Enjoy!

The Seattle Storm hosted several media members for a virtual press conference with Storm General Manager Talisa Rhea and Head Coach Noelle Quinn. Myself and other media members spent roughly 30 minutes asking questions. The topics include the bullying and harrassment claims, the team’s roster additions, specifics about the new players, team needs, the draft, and more. You can watch the full press conference here. The video will cut out during media questions as most media had their cameras off but you will still get the audio.

The Seattle Storm 2024 season is officially over after they were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces. During the team’s final post-game press conference for this season, I thought there were multiple eye-opening quotes from Coach Noelle Quinn and players Gabby Williams and Nneka Ogwumike. This podcast includes a quick summary and the post-game interviews with WNBA media.
