Stormwood & Associates: An Actual Play RPG Podcast

Our heroes land in a world that seems almost utopian, except for the distinct lack of anyone who isn’t an elf. Also the locals don’t seem to happy to see anyone who isn’t from there. It’s giving really not-great vibes right off the bat, especially once the locals start calling someone to “take care of” Field Operations Team 623.

The post C2E42. Unnecessary Suspicion (Nexus Point Part 1) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.

The team has decided to help a dragon that’s been robbed by a local king. Obie and Amy are currently in process of taking out the siege weaponry that arms the capital city by hijacking a ballista and attacking all of the other ballistas and trebuchets. D, on the other hand, somehow got roped into TAing at a Wizard school? It’s very confusing.

Liz is mostly just trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

The post C2E41. Ballista Bonanza (Dragon Spite Part 6) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.

The team has ended up in a medieval-ish world, much to their chagrin. In order to aid a dragon who has been wronged by a local king, our heroes have traveled to the capital city of Geldenfell. In theory they were just on a scouting run to assess the siege weapons on the city walls.

But Obie is ambitious.

The post C2E40. Under Siege (Dragon Spite Part 5) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.

So after confronting the dragon that had been harassing local villagers, our team of heroes discovered that the dragon had his entire horde stolen by the local monarch. After the dragon apologized profusely for bothering the (innocent) locals, the team decided to go investigate the armaments on the capital city of Geldenfell in the hopes that they could help the dragon reclaim what was rightfully his.

We recorded this episode (and the couple after it) in person, so enjoy the chaos of us being at the same actual table as each other. Also Trae spends the whole episode referring to the area of the city inside the city walls as “the keep,” which is not what that’s called and you should feel free to shame them about it.

The post C2E39. It’s Not a Keep, Trae (Dragon Spite Part 4) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.

So there’s this dragon. It’s been terrorizing the local town by burning crops and killing a few cows. The owner of said cows has sent our heroes on a quest to present said dragon with a bill. A bill for the cows. Let’s see how this goes.

The post C2E38. Bruncheons and Flagons (Dragon Spite Part 3) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.

So the team is in a much more medieval world than normal, but a dragon has been messing with the cows and crops of a local village. So the team has decided to help the locals out and “take care of” the dragon. Apparently that doesn’t mean they’ll run it a hot bath or something though.

The post C2E37. Dug Too Deep (Dragon Spite Part 2) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.

Our heroes, in probably their most dysfunctional state ever, emerge into a farmer’s field that’s been badly scorched by some sort of flame. Could it be that there’s a dragon here? I mean it definitely looks like there’s been a dragon here. I mean, look at the arc title — there’s definitely a dragon here.

The post C2E36. Cow Drop (Dragon Spite Part 1) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.

This is it, they’ve reached the basement of the farmhouse. Behind the door that lies in front of them may be Amy, the dangerous device that could end all magic, and answers to what the heck happened to them for the last five and a half months. There are definitely a few surprises they may not be expecting though.

The post C2E35. Basement Battle (Magicless Part 8) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.

In an attempt to save Amy, save magic, and maybe save all of Northeastern Illinois, the team is currently searching the farm of the disgraced Magic professor responsible for everything that’s happened. It’s dark, it’s cold, it’s spooky.

And no one should go anywhere alone.
