Gobbo has stolen the tristones of Nacurr from our heroes, and is currently trying to punch a hole to his home universe so he can travel back to his world… and also let the invading army he’s from to come back through to our world. This is not really acceptable to the Stormwood team, and they still need to destroy the Stone of Rebirth.
It’s stressful.

The post 129. Gobbo in the Ballroom with the Tristones (Halcyon Dreams Part 6) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
Gobbo has stolen the Tristones of Nacurr from our heroes, and they’ve tracked him through the empty streets of Halcyon to a mansion on the outskirts of town. The house is dark, mysterious, and the team are fairly certain they’re not alone in there. I mean, they know they’re not — the followed Gobbo in there — but, like, someone BESIDES Gobbo.

The post 128. No Clue (Halcyon Dreams Part 5) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The team is in the abandoned town of Halcyon, where apparently the remnants of an inter-dimensional invading army are just sorta… hanging out? Watching old DVDs of Gilmore Girls and MASH? The team ran into a goblin named Gobbo and spent the night on the floor of a former Thai restaurant. Now the morning has come, and it’s time to destroy the “football.”
Y’know, assuming nothing gets in the way.

The post 127. An Annoying Escape (Halcyon Dreams Part 4) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
After arriving in the abandoned town of Halcyon to destroy the football, they’ve found that the town isn’t as empty as it’s supposed to be. A large number of orcs are living in the former resort town, and a goblin (who at one point got locked int he trunk of a Lincoln – who will be very familiar to listeners of the first season of The Meatgrinder) has invited the team to crash at his “home.”
It’s a whole thing.

The post 126. Gragnath Murderblood (Halcyon Dreams Part 3) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The team has travelled to Halcyon, Williams so they can safely destroy the “football” without taking out most of the west coast. The supposedly abandoned town doesn’t seem to be as empty as it first seemed though.
And yes, I know this is “the team in an abandoned/empty town” scenario again. We don’t mean for this to keep happening, seriously.

The post 125. The Recruiter and “Kevin” (Halcyon Dreams Part 2) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
With Halliwell clearly trying to build a new Stone of Rebirth, it’s time to finally destroy the old one. They have the Tristones of Nacurr, they have the football — and now it’s time to actually do something. It’s time to get into the meat of the story, so things don’t stay a grind.
See what I did there? Eh? Eh?

The post 124. The Grind (Halcyon Dreams Part 1) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The team is in the middle of a battle, as Bill and Raz fight in the back of a semi trailer against Royce and a number of armed men. Babbitt is trying to stop the truck, and they’re all speeding up the Pacific Coast Highway in the middle of the night during a thunderstorm.
It’s very, very dramatic.

The post 123. Knock Out, Drag Down (2 Domino 2 Effect Part 5) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
So Halliwell is trying to build a backup “Stone of Rebirth” and has Royce smuggling a large number of magical batteries up to San Ricardo to do it. The Stormwood team, with the help of the “Sexy Car Thieves,” plans on intercepting the semi carrying the batteries on the road.
And it’s raining. And night time.

The post 122. Rain Soaked Roads (2 Domino 2 Effect Part 4) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The team is currently in La Reina at a racing event. After a fun night, their suspicions were confirmed that Halliwell was attempting to pull something off in the area. Or at least that seemed like the obvious conclusion when Raz ran into Royce at a local Starbucks. Now Babbitt has followed Royce to a nearby warehouse, and things ought to get interesting.

The post 121. Narrow Escape (2 Domino 2 Effect Part 3) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The team is in La Reina, Calisorta for a very unfortunately named racing event. They’re there to meet Michelle Domino and crew for some Halliwell stuff, but have arrived first. So they’re racing cars, going dancing, and accidentally running into old enemies.
