The team has come home from Pleasant Valley with a new teammate. But there’s no rest for the weary, as they have a lead on their quest to fight a certain Elven Wizard and destroy his immortality device. There are also some disturbing developments happening back in San Ricardo, but there’s not much they can do about it.

Also, no one wants to ask Mara where she keeps getting all of that blood.

Now fully in the Sangreal tournament, the team is trapped in H.H. Holmes’s murder hotel. Well, I say “trapped,” but NK exploded the exterior wall… so they have a pretty easy way out, even if it’s a bit of a drop. But rather than run away, the team has decided to end things with Father George, while Oscar cowers in the corner.

The team is in the small town of Pleasant Valley, Calisorta to help out an old friend of Bill’s named Oscar. Upon getting there, the team has found themselves in the middle of an arcane tournament called “The Sangreal,” run by the Church of the Sanctuary of Mercy. It’s all very complicated, involves resurrected dead people, and conversations about making out with Teddy Roosevelt just for the story.
