After a night on the town, it’s the next morning and the day of the robot fighting competition. But someone else has plans for the Stormwood team, and they might never make it to the arena. I mean, there’s definitely fighting and robots involved, but not in the way anyone really expected.

The post 99. Ankle Biters (Challenge of the Robots Part 8) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The night continues as the Stormwood team is in Vegas for a robot fighting competition. Babbitt and NK went out gambling and drinking, Bill went and saw a show (with Kel), and Raz went to a Spa. They’ve all met up again at the hotel’s buffet though, and Raz has suggested they go check out a burlesque show a few blocks away.
Bill is way less into it than everyone else is.

The post 98. A Very Dangerous Person (Challenge of the Robots Part 7) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The team won their regional robot fight, so it’s time for them to head to the big championship tournament in Vegas! Raz is headed to the Spa! Bill (and Kel) are off to see a show! NK and Babbitt are off to gamble… and get very, very drunk.
So, so drunk…

The post 97. Viva Vegas (Challenge of the Robots Part 6) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The robot battle continues in the high school gymnatorium! N.K. has piloted the team through the first round, but two more rounds are ahead of Team Lumina — including one against The Orb! This… this is not a typical arc of the show, guys. This is a weird (but fun) one.

The post 95. The Broomba Face Off (Challenge of the Robots Part 4) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
It’s the day of the regional robot battle competition, and the Stormwood team — or should I say “Team Lumina” — is ready for battle. Kind of. Sort of. We’ll see how it goes. Before combat commences though, our heroes are going to check out the competition. The weird, weird competition.

The post 94. Pre-Fight Checklist (Challenge of the Robots Part 3) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The team builds a robot. I could come up with a more entertaining way to say that, but really… that is literally all that happens. They go to a Farm Barn, buy some things, and build a robot. That’s it. That’s the episode. If you’re expecting more than that, you have selected the wrong episode.
I promise it’s still entertaining though.

The post 93. Van Sandwich Discourse (Challenge of the Robots Part 2) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
Raz is building something behind some sheets and tarps she’s hung from the ceiling of the clubhouse, and no one knows what exactly she’s making back there. There are construction and building noises though, so it’s probably not anything she’s qualified to construct.
Also, Bill likes spatulas, and the team has a new truck.

The post 92. Covered in Sheet (Challenge of the Robots Part 1) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
The town of Deep Valley, Cordillera looked normal when Bill and Raz arrived, in search of one of the Tristones of Nacurr, but it’s turning out to be anything but. There’s a strange cult like following of a local podcast, and magic is likely to blame. Bill and Raz have found the source of it though, and it’s time to get what they came here for.
Also, stay tuned for an important announcement at the end of the episode.

The post 91. Tubthumping (Mainstreet Part 3) first appeared on Nerd & Tie Network.
In pursuit of one of the tristones of Nacurr, Bill and Raz have headed off to to Deep Valley, Cordillera (where they’re pretty sure one currently sits). With just the two of them (and Kel on coms), at first the place seems perfectly normal. Upon further investigation, things may be anything but.
There’s a podcast involved. It’s weird.
