Griffin moves to Nashville in 2003.  Has a meeting with destiny in an Episcopalian Church Service, finds recording partners Justin and Ian, and records his first song in Nashville, "Waste Another Day." 

Gets a call from Island/Def Jam Records in New York City, and goes to Los Angeles for the first time to play for Dreamworks Records.  Some unlucky events lead to unexpected doors opening.
