Story Hole

The story of Voltron started in 1984, and has seen a number of sequels and reboots over the years. But this week, we're going back to the original series that started it all to find out who this giant robot is, where he came from, and if he's single and date-able or not. So grab a couple friends and form your own robot while we explore the lore behind Voltron!

We all have friends that we're a little close with, and that's a beautiful thing...but in Joe's case, his new 40,000 cockroach friends are a little too close. Today we're going to take a look at the 1990's MTV film Joe's Apartment and see what's bugging Joe so much.

After taking a break to sun our buns a little, these summerboys are back with SEASON TWO! And we're starting it off with a very compelling story of love, lust, and loss...its Donkey Kong baby! Come learn where this big beautiful ape came from and where he is now. Welcome back to Story Hole.

Like all great, perfect, unstoppable things, we must come to an end. Story Hole has hit the big times and become so big, we simply cannot continue. We would like to end our season with a respectful nod to series finales we thought were equally as important. This week we depart from season one with a humble hats off to The Cosby Show, Quantum Leap, and Hey, Arnold. Stick around for the post-show as we chat about season 2, as well as some fake sponsors.

That system proved so effective at describing personalities and predicting behavior, it's use has grown way beyond D&D. So on this week's Hole, we take a look at the D&D Alignment System to try to figure out if we're chaotic evil or not!

Joey introduces the first book in a 40 year saga of a primitive planet and wild world. The catch is that the protagonist is from modern day earth...and he's in for in for a strange, violent ride...

How can we put this delicately? There are some questionable ethics on the planet of Gor. Let us be the first to say - No one should ever recommend this book to anyone else, but, hey if you want a wild ride on a giant bird and can handle embarrassing, creepy old-man fantasies, you might find some cheap fun in this slightly infamous sci-fi book series.
