Finally, the second season of Story Wise Woodend.  Now in smaller, one story episodes, easier to listen to on the go. The first story in this season is from the Story Wise Woodend event in February 2016, where the theme of the night was Eclipse of the Heart. We hear a wonderful story from Cassis Lumb, about the agony of unrequited love..

In this tenth episode of Story Wise Woodend we hear stories from two experienced storytellers, from Melbourne, who travel to Woodend to support the event.  In serendipitously related stories, Teena Hartnett remembers her Dad and Jackie Kerin her grandmother, both told in February 2016 where the theme of the night was Eclipse of the Heart.

This weeks episode shares a terrific story from Jackie Kerin, including her curiosity as to what story 'they' tell about what happened.  And Susan tells a story of an unlikely solution doctors find in a situation of modern medicine.

Peter Fernon brings together ephemeral images to create a moving story from childhood in this first of the episodes where the theme is Race against Time.  He is followed by Teena Hartnett, with her trusty canine friend Atticus, telling a story about their adventures in St Kilda.

This is the last of the four episodes sharing stories from the first Story Wise Woodend event in October 2015, where the theme for the night was Firsts.  Melvyn Cann, who has become a regular at Story Wise Woodend over the last 12 months tells of his experiences teaching.   This is followed by a surprise story from Gill Jewell, in direct response to Melvyn's story.

A gorgeous story from Christine Hardiman, who has also become a regular at Story Wise Woodend, begins this episode. She shares many funny and delightful images from the streets of Melbourne.  The second story is from Teena Hartnett, a seasoned storyteller with an easy style, telling a story about getting a house.

In this episode Peter Fernon touches on some of the major male milestones and how they can play out in unusual ways. The second story is from Woodend local and Story Wise Woodend regular Susan Davie, who as an ex-nurse, has a wealth of stories.
