I snapped awake at the sound of subdued screaming music spilling from the headphones of the teen who had just settled down on the seat next to me. I glanced over at her, and she flicked her gaze in my direction, as if daring me to say something. But I was preoccupied by the feeling that something was wrong. I shook off the disorientation and saw that I was several stops away from where I needed to be. As the subway train rolled to a stop, I leapt out of my seat and navigated my way to the doors. I was late to work, and on a day after I may have burned one bridge too many.

A woman dozes off on the subway, misses her stop, and ends up reaching the same destination again and again.

Will she ever see today? Or will she only ever arrive at yesterday?

When Cantor was a child, it was said that he was descended from Orpheus, who made flowers bloom with his song, who inspired trees to bend toward the playing of his lyre, who soothed the hearts of beast so well, they forgot to hunt their prey. Even Cantor's crying was so sweet to hear that his mother had to stuff wax and cloth in her ears and watch his expression to know he was in misery.

When Cantor's enchanting voice changes from wonder to disaster, he becomes a hermit, until his voice is called upon to serve his kingdom.

Find out what happens when he answers the call in this episode.

The mystery of magic in our world begins with the mystery of the magus node. But what is the magus node?

Myths and legends of old speak of a golden fleece that was shorn from a mighty ram belonging to the gods. This fleece became a symbol of power and kingship. In the possession of legends, it became a legend itself.

But this story is not about the famous fleece of the ancient world. It is about another fleece, not as well-known, though just as mighty in its own way. Rare and much-disputed is the tale of this fleece.

A shepherd is given a fleece of rich black wool that imbues him with unique knowledge. When he passes the fleece on to his heir, she uses that knowledge in her worldly quest.

Hear the story of this not-so-legendary fleece in this episode.

Father chuckled, but I knew I must say something, for Ida had asked the question in earnest.

"He isn't anybody," I said. "He's just a snowman."
