"It's everywhere," the grizzled old cat said. "It surrounds us." And he heard the expected fear-filled gasps and murmuring among his audience.

"This everywhere demon, what is it called grandsire?" one gray-striped kitten asked, his eyes round as saucers, his expression bold and bright as the moonlight above.

"We don't have a name for it, kit," the old cat replied, "but the Hind-leggers call it Traffic."

Twenty-nine cats set out on a mission to find a rare resource that will save their people and their way of life. How many will make it back home?

The large man was lying on his stomach with his face turned to the side. The left side of his face was visible. That's why I knew who it was. Aside from his distinctive sharp features, Sylvio Milan was known to have a scar on his left cheek, from his ear to the corner of his lip. Supposedly, someone had tried to cut his throat and missed.

Femme fatale…damsel in distress...crime boss? Who…is Sylvia?

Notable detail: The character names and relationships in this story—not to mention the title—were inspired by the Shakespeare play "Two Gentlemen of Verona."
