Storysmiths Podcast

In the sixth episode of the second season of Storysmiths, we tackle something that we've all been struggling with recently- isolation. But in typical Storysmiths fashion, rather than settle for something as simple as social distancing to combat a pandemic (as surreal as that sounds) we set up a world where people have been isolated in bunkers for ten years while an unknown war rages above. When they finally open their vault doors, they find that they have their own story of what happened over the last decade, as is the case with every other bunker that survived the war...

On the third episode of our second season, we finish up discussing the ending of Lex Luthorica from Episode 2 based on the results of the polls submitted by the Taleweavers.

At 15:35 we move onto this week's story- a story of childhood loneliness and the desire for acceptance based around the popular family board game Takenoko by Antoine Bauza and Matagot.

Get lost in this story featuring a panda, a boy, a girl, a samurai, the emperor and a fertilizer delivery man.

On the second episode of season 2, Taleweaver @ClVlL2006 recommended that we build a story in a universe where only the villains of all IP's live. A world with villains running rampant and no superheroes to swoop in and save the day. What we end up with is a complex battle between order and chaos involving Lex Luthor, The Joker, The Kingpin, Red Skull, Jason Todd, The Punisher, and more.

We need your help to finish up the ending of this story in the next episode. Please give your responses in this poll: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MRTJ6PS

Welcome back Taleweavers!

On this first episode of our new episodical format, we take 5 randomly selected tropes of Animes and create our own Anime series using them. We create the world of Sweeps Stakes: Return of Queen's Kiss which captures our imagination with the sport of chess-curling, an abandoned son and random anime sound effects.

The final episode of our first world. We'll be back in January 2019 with the first episode of our second world. In the meantime, look out for bonus roleplaying game and storytelling game episodes. Also, keep an eye out for the written version of our full story from world 1, which will be followed by an audiobook version released on this feed. Plenty to come- even on the off months.
