In this episode we are continuing to explore how sin in our lives gives the enemy a green light to harm us. Specifically we are considering how unconfessed sin is an open invitation for the enemy to come into and bring chaos into our lives.  In the next episode we will focus on the enemies war against the family. In this episode we are continuing in our spiritual warfare series and looking at the human authority/relationship structures and how they are related to spiritual warfare. It is essential to understand that when we as people violate authority structures this will invite demonic activity into our lives because rebellion against these structures is rebellion against God who instituted them. We are to also understand that God will not tolerate anyone in any spiritual authority position abusing anyone in their care. Abuse of any kind spiritual, physical, emotional etc. is not tolerated by God and should not be tolerated in our lives.  

This short episode focuses on the fact that the Christian is no longer under the legal jurisdiction of Satan but is free to walk in the victory given to us in our Lord Jesus Christ. We walk in victory when we exercise the authority given to us in Christ. Our principal text today is Luke 10:18-20. 

As we continue in this series our focus in this episode is how the Lord Jesus defeated Satan in His public ministry. The point being that our Lord has given us an example to follow. In other words "what can the enemy do to people?" Our main texts will be from the Gospels specifically what our Lord says about Satan and his demons. How often in life have you felt inadequate? Not up to snuff?
