Before moving on towards Series B, Straight Outta the Federation is taking a look at one of Terry Nation's other projects...the Daleks.  Specifically, the serial, Genesis of the Daleks, where we try to point out so of the similar "go to's" Terry Nation's storytelling might display.

Straight Outta the Federation discusses the series finale, Orac, where Blake and Cally touchdown on a planet to retrieve some drugs to help the crew from radiation exposure as well as hand some drugs to a dying man whose son help Blake and Cally at gun point.  

Because thus far, Blake lives a life of a series of green lights, the crew is now in possession of the great and mighty Orac.  

The next episode  of the podcast will take a detour and watch the 6 part story Genesis of the Daleks by Terry Nation.

Straight Outta the Federation enjoyed Project Avalon quite a bit.  Blake really takes it to the Federation in this, we enjoyed hearing about other confederates, as it were, rebelling against the Federation across the Galaxy and the stand off between Blake and Travis is always fun.  Of course, Jacqueline Pearce is spectacular with the first in person Servalan/Blake meeting.
