Well, here we go. And it's not getting a lot of attention for some reason. The the whole, reconciliation thing, that's not getting the negotiation or excuse me, the attention the negotiations should be getting. This is not just about continuing the Trump era tax cuts, but and and that is a huge part of it. There's a whole bunch of stuff in it.

You got a debt ceiling and spending changes and new tax cuts for overtime and Social Security. This is a unique opportunity where certain funding and spending provisions could get past the 60 vote filibuster in the Senate, so this is probably the only real legislative achievement Donald Trump's going to have this year. But we are going to have to thread a needle with this and it all comes down to the final bill, whatever the final bill looks like. Can everybody swallow it? On the plus side, it it's everybody's benefit to get this passed, but it's gonna be painful because everybody out there wants to have a slice of the pie, a slice of their pie going into this pie.

They they they want something that, you know, a piece of them. They want a piece of them to be in the pie. Piece of what they want. They wanna see that. And if they don't, they're gonna have trouble voting for it because this is never about what's good for you.

It's about what's good for them. Now a lot of dumb people right now, and I mean this in the nicest way, they they seem to have forgotten that there hasn't been a lot of legislation passed because of the whole filibuster thing. Now the filibuster will be dead the second the Democrats can kill it. And it's the only thing driving the desperate negotiations to get this done. And the new deadline for this is, July 4.

And we need to have it as soon as we can because then the economy can jump. And all we have to depend on is that the, the Republicans don't blow it. Right? If only the Republicans don't blow it. But they're Republicans so of course they can blow it.

It doesn't have to go this way, though. Johnson has a a wafer thin margin, and he has he done a fairly decent job of getting the, preliminary votes through. A lot of people said it wouldn't happen, but it did happen. John Thune got the initial votes through the Senate. That's also close to a miracle.

This bodes well but there's a lot of other boding that we're gonna have to look at. Then the unspoken factor, and this is the Trump factor, you know when he picks up the phone people listen, he's sort of like EF Hutton And at some point, he's gonna have to let his fingers do the walking. At some point, he's gonna have to start dialing. He's trying to stand back and figure out what the house the both houses need to do. Some of his contributions have not been very helpful in all honesty.

His idea of tolerating a small marginal rate increase for very high earners is a terrible one. Remember George h w Bush. Read his lips and if that doesn't work, read history. And, you know, there are a lot of traditional Republican positions we need to revisit. Not raising taxes is not one of those.

And, of course, because they're Republicans, they have all kinds of clicks going on there, all kinds of blocks. The house is schizophrenic because some members don't wanna cut too deeply and others don't wanna cut anything at all. And the senate seems reluctant to cut as much as the house is inclined to. Trump's strategy seems to be that he's gonna let both sides get as far as they can and then he's gonna get involved in it because you do want to knock heads at the end of the negotiation not at the beginning. Got to let the negotiation happen.

But everybody in this has a dog in this fight. Everybody has something they want and if nothing passes passes, excuse me, tax cuts go away and everybody's gonna get slammed. Now is this a Glock Shooting Sports Federation, event? Actually, it is the annual Glock Sports Shooting Match held at Belt and Gun Club. Okay. And they they hold about 60 or 66 around the nation. Right.

So what what what is the criteria to be able to shoot in there? I mean, is there different classes for the calibers? Is there different classes for the size of guns? How does this break down? Because this would be the one I would compete in, but I've got just about all the sizes.

There are multiple different types of Glocks as we all know. So it just depends on what somebody already has. Right. I like the Glock nineteen. That's my favorite.

My husband likes the Glock forty five. So there's just if it's a Glock pistol, there's a division you can shoot it in. Right. So with the 19 and the 45 be in the same division since they're roughly about the same gun except for grip design? Correct.

Yeah. That's correct. The, full sized pistols, like your nineteen and forty five, the 17, full size ones compete against each other. Your pocket locks, like the forty two and forty three, would compete in a compact division. Right.

And they have a rimfire, which is the 22 ammo, and that's strictly a rimfire division. So, how is Glock as big a gun in competitive world as it is in self defense world and law enforcement world? Glock is known to be very dependable, reliable, and for self defense, you want it for that. As far as competing, there are so many different types of guns you can get to compete with. I wouldn't even venture to guess who's favorites.

I'm a Glock owner, and I really like what I have. Right. I I like that their trigger is what the safety is built. I mean, I don't have to worry about releasing a safety trigger, a safety release. Yeah.

So that's my personal preference. See, now here here's a question for you. I've got three Glocks right now with Terran Tactical Innovations. And when they come back, they're not exactly gonna be Glocks. Is there a class for that?

Okay. It has to be a stock Glock. Oh, okay. Talking about a gun that has all their types of parts in it. They, depending on what you've added to it, you might be able to enter it in the unlimited.

That's something so technically you'd have to look it up in the rules or ask the Glock people. The only thing two of them have Timney triggers and other than that, it's just been some, you know, it'll be some grip work, it'll be some, they'll lighten the slide a little bit and possibly use a different Glock spring in it, but most of the parts going into it are Glock except for the finish. Right. You know, again, that would be something I would direct to the Glock people. I know there's certain things like you can add different sites.

I like I added a fiber optic on one one of mine to try it out. I've used the standard iron sights that come on it. If you put something like an MOS on it, that puts you into the MOS division. Right. And then on your magazines, they allow you to add, like, a pure script that has a pinky extension.

Yeah. Yeah. Right. So that, you know, when you're shooting seven rounds and your magazine only holds six, you can get the seventh round for your compact pistols. Yep.

Deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller is, making himself a very important voice of the Trump administration and he's a mainstream media nemesis.

But see, it's not what he has done in his White House role that might rock the three branches of the United States government as we know them. It's not the verbal jujitsu that he employs and throws people all over the room with. You know, that might produce a kind of explosive reverberation that could have the potential of igniting the kind of inter branch constitutional crisis rarely seen since the one that eventually sparked that fateful shot on Fort Sumter. There's something called American First Legal, the nonprofit Publix Law Foundation co founded by Stephen Miller in 2021 with a mission of turning the legal tables on the radical activist left. And it wants to wage a forceful defense of our rights, our country, and our cherished American way of life and has just filled a bombshell lawsuit against chief justice John g Roberts junior.

In his capacity as presiding officer of the Judicial Conference of the United States and Robert j Conrad, director of administrative of the Administrative Office of the US Courts. AFL wants the information from the Judicial Conference and the US Courts Administrative Office, John Roberts and Robert Conrad are accused of scoffing at the assertion by its Freedom of Information Act request that AFL is entitled to it. They call this an unconstitutional shadow agency and the administrative arm both overseen by chief justice Roberts as rogue executive agencies that have collaborated with far left lawmakers to wage lawfare against conservative supreme court justices. It also reports that lawsuit not only takes aim at the judicial branch branch and, Roberts, but also targets a legislative branch of Democrat senator Sheldon White house and representative Hank Johnson. It accuses them of a concerted effort together with the judicial Conference and the mainstream media to discredit Supreme Court justices Thomas, Alito, and Kavanaugh.

The FOIA request for correspondence between these two lawmakers and the Judicial Conference is the key element of the lawsuit, and the conference feels itself immune from FOIA. AFL means the conference is bound by FOIA when like it this alleged instance, it exercises executive functions. So this would likely be a case that makes its way to the Supreme Court and it can easily be anticipated that Federal District Court of District Columbia will conclude and that the DC Circuit Court of Appeal will concur that the judicial branch has immunity under foil. But there's one part they haven't figured out yet and, that's how the Supreme Court and Roberts will respond when AFL brings their appeal. And this challenges not only the judicial branch's independence but also Roberts' professional integrity.

And if they deny the appeal, this leaves the chief justice, the court and the judicial branch subject to the appearance of impropriety and of having something to cite. This is what we would refer to as bad optics. And if they take up the case, this means Roberts has to recuse himself from it. Hearing the case risks the exposure of some very unfavorable details potentially implicating Roberts, the Judicial Conference and Democrats, White House and Johnson. Any ruling by a reduced court that agrees with lower courts will risk the same unfavorable impressions by the public and unlikely ruling that favors AFL will be no less damaging to the Democrats and judicial branch leadership.

But we're also hearing it from supposed free market libertarians and others on the right who can't see past their arrogance and or their disdain for Trump to figure out what our president is trying to accomplish. It's, you know, it's it's not hard to find footage of a much younger Trump on Oprah in 1988 talking about how we were getting ripped off by other countries. So at least for thirty five years or thirty seven years, excuse me, this has been going on, but it's a surprise is when we elect someone on a campaign promise and they actually do what they said they were gonna do. And, the weak need Republican should take note of this. You know, write it down, put it put it somewhere where you can find it.

Now, the other thing that they they they they say they want is a free market, but that means that both sides have to agree to the terms. So how do we attain the free market utopia that they claim to seek? Do we go to China and and just ask them, would you please, pretty please with sugar on top, reduce our tariffs to zero? Well, Trump doesn't do that. Trump drops anvils on them.

And despite everything you heard and everything you saw and everything that was coming at you and it was it was gonna be pan delirium, they caved. And they came to the table because they were forced to come to the table, not because they wanted to come to the table. And, you know, I I've been telling everybody out here, you know, we're like their biggest market for their for the stuff they build and, yeah, there are secondary markets out there that buy plenty of it, but it's nothing like us. What's astounding to me is that this guy wrote a book about making deals. And and I guess nobody was, nobody was paying attention to the fact that maybe he actually knew what he was talking about.

Now, as of now, the equity markets have surged past their lows following Liberation Day, which was tariff day. The dollar is on the move surging 1% after the announcement with China. New business deals are being struck almost daily. Gas is down. I with, with some coupons, you know, with with the card, I actually bought, gas for $2.25 the other day.

Inflation is down. We all knew that once the Inflation is down. We all knew that once the government stopped ordering the mass slaughter of chickens, the egg prices were returned to normal and this is just the hundred are we on day 10 yet? I not sure. Maybe hundred thirteen.

So for the naysayers, no one who believes in this president expects a smooth ride. When you're out there and you're trying to smelt gold, there's gonna be some heat. We have generations of horrible policy that has to be dismantled and that's not gonna happen without a few jabs and pains. The entrenched administrative state is not gonna roll over and give up. The leeches and the other parasites aren't going to change their diet.

For those of you that are out there, and I mean grassroots in, South Carolina as far as I can tell is alive and well, And they have to continue to pressure their representatives to do the right thing to help this president. Federal authorities are rounding up criminal gang members and other threats to civil society.
