Blame it on the internet, or blame it on the misogynistic culture we live in, one things for sure… we can’t escape the sexualization of just about everything these days it seems. Is it that the access to sex has become easier over the years? Maybe it’s the instinctive fear and panic that we feel when we think about our children (or any children) getting hurt by a predator? Or maybe it’s our own past traumas and experiences mixed with the saturation of sexual content that makes us just shut down when it comes to actually educating ourselves and our kids about sex? We’re not sure what the exact culprit is, but we do know that a good place to start is by opening dialogue about the things that make us uncomfortable or scared.

There is a BIG difference between trauma bonding and bonding over shared trauma, they are not the same. On today's show we get into the difference between the both of these. So many times we refer to things as we think we understand them but it may in fact not be the correct way to refer to it when you don't fully understand the true definition of something. You know we love to break things down and we do in this show. What is a trauma bond? And what is bonding over trauma? Lets dive deep into it.

This episode was hi-jacked by RaqC’s random thoughts and of course we were here for it. We touched on a little bit of everything and dove into the possibility of what if and why not. Shoutout to all the random, out of the box thinkers of the world. It’s ok to question things and wonder why or why not, it’s doesn’t make you weird, it makes you curious! Who can relate to random thoughts and questioning things?

RaqC reveals her ancestry results she received from 23andMe. The facts that she feels like she was Asian in a past life might make more sense now more than ever. She goes through her results page by page and the commentary and feedback from La Susie is second to none hilarious. Genetics don’t lie. Would you or have you taken one of these ancestry tests yourself? Please share in the comments if yes or no and if so what did you discover that shocked you?
