They discuss what their experiences have been being sorority presidents for their chapter, facing big life challenges, the future of the greek system with virtual recruitment and more. This week Katie talks about her childhood and what it was like growing up with a unique twin sister. Katie has a drive and passion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and shared her insight on all things advocacy, educating young children about diversity, and shared a little bit about her involvement with Best Buddies. 

In this episode, Katie talks about expectations for the school year this fall, gives some insight and advice for incoming college freshman and college students in general, and talks about her quarantine endeavors. Katie decided to start a tie dye business during quarantine and wanted to share how she came about that idea and brings some inspiration to the listeners about how they can be motivated to start something new. There is so much uncertainty going on during these trying times so Katie delivers her insight on how to look at it going forward. 

In this introductory episode, Katie sets the tone for what the show is going to be about  and also dives into a preview for what next weeks episode will focus on: change, covid-19 and new beginnings.
