We are heading back to the turn of the 20th century for part 2, are you ready for this neighbors?

What if an ancient people built magnificent monuments and structures all over this land and as short of a time ago as the early 1900s it was still common knowledge? 

If you know me you will know I love old stuff, the details of the past are like an intricate puzzle that I am always attempting to assemble, finding some old ghosts of the past that are laced with mystery and intrigue is exactly my jam.  Today come back for part two so we can once again stare into the looking glass of the past and share some of the historical treasure I discovered like the skeletal remains of giants, buried palaces, stone ruins, massive cities and centers, with admission that ancient peoples built stone forts in America, and not just forts but cities, palaces, castles and other advanced large scale architecture. These are just some of the stories in this show, the fine details that make us look back and ask ourselves; wtaf happened?? Some people say that the devil is in the details, I think those people know that the truth is actually hidden in the details and the devil is the one who tries to bury it.

It is Episode 34 and thank you for hanging with me today while I try to answer a question that has been gnawing at me since digging into the early worlds fairs in America...  who is the lady? 

Who is the woman in all the statues, on the flyers, postcards and posters, who is this strange strong looking Romanesque goddess that stood at the epicenter of the Chicago World's fair in 1893, who sits atop the capital building, who was the face of liberty on American coins for well over a century and was the subject of praise in the unofficial national anthem until 1931?

After months of wondering and asking I found a name. She is Columbia. Goddess of the new world, Lady of Liberty.

But what is the story of Columbia? She is said to be the goddess that personified the early American spirit, and she makes uncle Sam look like a decrepit old capitalist conqueror with her wise and steady demeanor. I am sure you have a million new questions now which will hopefully be answered in this episode.  So who was Columbia? What did she have to do with the shaping of early America? The worlds fairs? The insignia of an entire nation pre-world war II? You wouldn't believe me unless you heard the whole tale and all the various intertwining narratives, stories, symbols, mythologies, deities, and ancient tellings of a similar tale.

Thank you for joining me today for Episode 32 of the Strange Neighborhood Podcast. Today I followed the synchronicities that brought me to find out about an international expo that was held in Detroit Michigan in 1889.  This world's fair is not listed on the official record anywhere but taking a little closer look at everything it wasn't really hard to see why. Could it be the desecration of ancient burial mounds? or maybe it's the drop-in electric shock therapy display? or it could very well be the skeletons they found and tossed into the Detroit River... the oversized humanoids skeletons... and the ones with oddly shaped skulls? but I bet it wasn't any of that, I think it's more likely that the entire expo took place on ancient and sacred native American ceremonial grounds.  It was told by local tribes at the time to be the place of an ancient energetic portal connecting our world to the world beyond.  I guess if they wanted to hide the legends that this area is n fact a gateway, they shouldn't be plastering the symbolism all over that city to this very day. 

So step into the portal with me that is the Detroit River, a passageway connecting two powerful bodies of water and possibly a passageway connecting us to another realm that defies space and time.  Hop on my boat we are heading for 'the strait' neighbors, and its choppy waters out there.

EPISODE 31

Hey neighbors its Episode 31 of the Strange Neighborhood Podcast and we have our favourite guest co-host, Consciously Created Jen, back on the show for a little chat about the death of queen Elizabeth and the funeral to follow.  Coming from our perspective of not knowing much at all about this family and its history join us for our fresh take on this wizard of oz illusion that is the house of Windsor.  

On this episode as we go over the weird and creepy notable details about this funeral and the royals in general, and talk about how much of an act this all seems like. Join me and Jen while we look at the big show that is the royal family, all gilded and dripping with diamonds, and we dare to ask ourselves the question; 

'is any of this even real?'

Welcome back again neighbors and thank you so much for joining me for Episode 30 of the Strange Neighborhood podcast

On todays episode the man, the myth, the legend; Random Randy, host of the Red Thread Podcast joined us for his second appearance on this show and, as usual, he did not disappoint! 

Going into this interview I thought I knew what we were going to talk about, but, as I should probably expect by now, the universe always has a way of surprising me. Today me and Randy really got down to the deep questions that address the nature of this quantum reality we live in and our divine place in it.  Entering into a natural progression from the disillusioned state of pulling back the curtain on the wizard of oz, many of us are now searching deeper and looking further within to find questions that challenge everything we have ever been taught in this classroom of life. I am happy to cross paths with people like Randy that give me the reassurance to keep asking these questions... and then finding even more questions, and enjoying the mystery the whole way through.

You guys and gals are just going to be obsessed with this episode for reals.
