Gaia Pope was a talented teenager from a loving family who lived in a quiet Dorset village. She became a victim of a sexual pervert she met at college, incompetent policing , austerity cuts  and a lack of provision from social services in rural Dorset. Despite a huge community effort to find her, it was too late. As her family said, this is not a story just about Gaia, but all young women let down by the system.
