This time around, we are not doing well! And it shows. And it's hilarious. Bog witchcore at its finest!
But we're gonna give it our best shot. This week, this time, we're talking about Never by Ashley Capes (to the tune of "Baby Snakes" by Frank Zappa), which is the first (prequel) in the Book of Never series. It's a bite-sized bit of wonderful fantasy with treats of exposition, loveable characters, and some visceral darkness in it.
Never is available through many fine ebook retailers. You can find the whole list here at https://books2read.com/u/3RBg9Y
You can also check out Ashley's author feature page for more of his work at https://indiosyncrasy.com/authorfeature-ashleycapes/

During this week's episode, the topics look like a Jackson Pollock painting. A smattering of talking about Saffron's first novel in progress (BLACKOUT), self-deprecation, drinking tea from a kitchen sink.. this episode has it all!

We're Saffron Asteria and Sora Sullivan. Two strangers who are strange and like reading and writing fiction. During this episode, we talk about our own creative endeavours in part - but largely we talk about the book of a wonderful indie author. You want to know what the book is? Already? Ok, fine. It's Talia: Heir to the Fairy Realm by Joel C. Hello, and welcome to Strangers in Fiction!
Join us, the ineffable and effervescent Saffron and Sora, on a mildly chaotic and at least moderately hilarious journey into indie creativity.
This is our first foray, so welcome, welcome, and thank you so much for being here.
We're diving into Saffron's WIP debut Sci-fi Thriller novel Blackout, and Sora's complicated and nigh unclassifiable works, Interdimensional Bachelorette, and A Book.
