Valencia Burton, Broker/Owner of Buddha International Realty, is an East Oakland California native and has been a California real estate broker for over 10 years. She has a unique perspective about the real estate industry and the interactions between brokers/agents and buyers/sellers.
Wait until real estate agents and consumers hear what Val has to say.
The podcast title explains it all.
This is an advanced topic covered by 321 Biz Dev LLC. Ninety-five percent of white-collar business owners lose business because they push instead of pull.
Now, we have an evolving situation with businesses struggling to stay open and erratic shutdown orders, after being open for 20, 30 or more years.
This reshuffling of who is in business and not in business has elevated the concept of "business musical chairs".
A true titan in the California real estate industry, Kenny Session is the real deal. After restructuring from the mid 2000's real estate and mortgage crises, Kenny is connection buyers and sellers with agents throughout California...but this time in a virtual environment.
These big tech social media platforms were never meant to be primary tools for white-collar small business owners. It was a waste of time, money and effort for attorneys, CPAs, dentists, plastic surgeons, insurance brokers and real estate brokers to even think they could make enough money using social media. Business is not social...it's business.
If the business owner is not making an effort to increase revenue more than the competition, then he or she is not really a business owner. This person in charge of the company...the CEO, the president, the principal, the sole proprietor...is really an order taker.
An order taker just waits for a potential customer to call and stop by the office. The order taker hardly ever thinks he or she should proactively find more customers or clients.
Can you imagine a situation where a Los Angeles CPA is the most talented in the city, but interviews with prospects are adversarial? The CPA knows his or her industry well, but is unable to connect with the prospect to add the new client to his or her practice. I have seen this outcome over the last six years. Again, this is not good for the CPA nor 321 Biz Dev. And, the prospect is given a less than desirable experience at the appointment. Click HERE to learn more about 16 Personalities.
A graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science, Joseph also earned his MBA from San Francisco State University. Joseph wrote his MBA thesis on the housing crash and financial crisis, a crisis which significantly changed the California real estate market. Joseph takes great interest in analyzing stocks, bonds, taxes, new loan policies and local economic issues affecting the San Francisco Bay Area housing market.
To my current and new listeners, it is rare that I interview a small business owner with an MBA.
Without further delay, I want to welcome to the 321 Biz Development podcast, Joseph Gwynn, MBA and Real Estate Broker at Bay Area Realty Brokers.
