I noticed this article in The Wall Street Journal the other day about Michael Jordan getting his stake in the company DraftKings (DKNG) and I've been keeping an eye on it.

Since the news, I've heard about more partnerships that seem to have helped their stock value rise. Here's some thoughts around it.

It is exciting to see someone you connected with quite a few years ago suddenly start rising in their industry, so I just had to interview Hala Taha. It's funny how overnight success works - when someone suddenly starts appearing all over the place and their business is doing great (the public misses many years of effort)! And Hala shares her story of the many years of hard work that she put in to develop her Top-of-the-Apple-Charts podcast "Young and Profiting."
