When you look at a pine cone, what do you see?

Some people see nature, some people see stuff on the floor, some people see an entire forest and how it can create and add value.

The physical magazine and newspaper business has declined a bit over the years simply because most of us can easily get all of our information online. It makes us feel like there is "free information." But not all information is created equal.

I recently subscribed to and have delivered to my house certain magazines and newspapers and thought about the benefits of this experience. It has been very insightful, not only because of the news on the articles, but because of a few other things as well, which I describe in this video.

Overt racism is one thing where people are open about being racist. You can at least avoid or stand up to them because you know who they are. And any of their "overt racist behavior" is no longer accepted in our society.

But here's something that can be more harmful to society overall than someone who is obviously racist: implicit bias. Yes, words are harmful, and obviously physical racist acts that contain violence in particular are terrible and should be punished severely.
