Kerry Christopher has two decades of communications experience working for global automotive companies, including General Motors, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Volkswagen, and Hyundai. He is currently director of internal communications for General Motors in Detroit, Michigan. In this position, he leads a team of communications professionals focused on improving business results through two-way communications between leaders and employees.
Kerry has spent most of his career working for GM and has left for new opportunities and rejoined the company on three different occasions. While working for GM over the years, he managed media relations in Washington, D.C. during the company's bankruptcy crisis, oversaw PR for Cadillac, led communications for manufacturing, labor relations, HR, and supported multiple senior VPs and CEOs.
Additional experiences include director of internal communications for Goodyear Tire & Rubber, product communications for Volkswagen and communications manager for Hyundai where he was responsible for launching the Korean company's first U.S. assembly plant in Montgomery, Alabama.
Kerry is a 2016 graduate of the communications master's program at Kent State University. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Akron in 1993, where he also served as the music director and on-air talent for WZIP-FM radio and was a music columnist for entertainment weekly Scene magazine in Cleveland, Ohio.
Kerry currently lives in Rochester, Michigan, with his wife and their seven children. He enjoys playing guitar and spending time outdoors with his kids and their golden retriever, Baylee.
Jesse Freitas creates leads through a variety of channels and content. He is into all things marketing with a focus on Digital Marketing driving e-commerce growth. He is constantly adapting to new technologies, updates, and channels day to day. Jesse is a content creator, whether it be blog writing, social media, video direction, building landing pages or SnapChat story building. He loves brand management and takes pride in the StickerGiant personality he helps manage and control. He also manages and oversees all Paid Search and Digital Advertising.
Jesse created #NationalStickerDay, which is on January 13th annually, and came up with the whacky idea of Saul the #LargestStickerBall who is now a Guinness World Record. This Public Relations campaign brought a lot of notoriety to StickerGiant including mentions in ABC News across 14 major US Cities, an appearance on 9NEWS KUSA in studio, a joke on Late Night with Seth Myers and the pending launch of the record in the Guinness World Records Book this Fall 2018. It was a crazy idea... that worked.
Prior to joining the Economic Council Jessica Erickson was the Senior Industry Development Manager for the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade focusing on retention, expansion, and recruitment of businesses specializing in Advanced Manufacturing, Infrastructure Engineering, Electronics, Financial Services, and Technology & Information.
Prior to joining OEDIT, Jessica served as the Manager of Business Retention & Expansion and Interim Director of Economic Development for the City of Thornton Office of Economic Development. There she focused on the retention and expansion of the city’s existing primary employer base and spearheaded redevelopment efforts in a 600-acre Urban Renewal Area. Prior to the City of Thornton, Jessica worked in the City & County of Broomfield as the President & CEO of the Broomfield Economic Development Corporation. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Council of Colorado since 2008 and currently serves on the Board of Colorado Lending Source.Jessica received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also a graduate of the Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute and is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD)
Sheryl is currently CEO of REBBL super herb beverages and loving every minute of it. She is also an author of Killing It which was launched in Dec. 2016. She is an advisor to the Harvest Summit, an annual gathering of innovators in Sonoma County.
In 2007, Sheryl co-founded Plum, Inc. (formally the Nest Collective) a healthy food company. As CEO from 2007-2011, Sheryl led Plum to become an industry leader and game-changing company with national distribution. After growing to $100MM in revenue in only four years, Plum was successfully sold in May 2013.
Prior to Plum, Inc., Sheryl spent 10 years at Clif Bar & Company, 3 of them as CEO. Sheryl spearheaded the launch of Luna Bar, led the growth of Clif Bar and Company from $100MM to $200MM in revenue, with strong profitability, and drove the company toward operationalizing a deep commitment to sustainability.
Following Plum, Sheryl was the Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Stanford University supporting students to design and scale new ventures that have a positive impact on the world.
Sheryl was a faculty member teaching entrepreneurship at Sonoma State University. Sheryl served on numerous several for-profit and non-profit boards of directors/advisors including ThinkThin natural nutritional bars, SugarBowl Bakery, Rip Van Wafels, nutritious snack waffles, Zukes natural pet treats, Think Thin Nutrition Bars, and the American Sustainable Business Council. Zukes and Think Thin both had successful sales.
Shane Stott is the CEO of Walker Tape Co and the co-founder of Zen Float Co. He is also a Best -Selling Author of the Float Tank Cure and is currently at work on a new book of meditations.

Lori Canova has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of the "I Have a Dream" Foundation of Boulder County since 1997. Under her leadership, the organization has grown from two Dreamer cohorts to 17, serving over 1,000 students and their families in four communities (Boulder, Lafayette, Longmont and Carbon Valley) within two of the largest school districts in Colorado (Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley.)
Lori helped start the local Mentors Matter group which focuses on recruitment of mentors, especially mentors of color. She also helped launch a county-wide collaborative school supply drive, Crayons to Calculators and is a co-founder and co-chair of a collective impact initiative called Dream Big focusing on closing the achievement and opportunity gap in Boulder County. Prior to joining "I Have A Dream, Lori was the Program Director for Big Brothers of Metro Denver; a Program Director for the Mental Health Association of Colorado; the Director of SB94 Juvenile Diversion Program for Jefferson Center for Mental Health; and an Adolescent Counselor for Human Services, Inc.
Lori has a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and completed her undergraduate work in Social Work at Colorado State University. Lori served on the board of directors for Foothills United Way from 2005-2007 and was chair of the board for Volunteers in Prevention from 1993-1995. In 2010, Lori received the Woman of the Year award from the Boulder Professional Women Group. In 2015, Lori received the Partnership Award from Boulder Housing Partners and was awarded the Women Who Light the Community Award from the Boulder Chamber of Commerce.
