    Unwrap a little holiday wickedness....
The pleasures of Christmas. Love. The two things Jon Wilson doesn't think he deserves, thanks to a holiday accident that took his parents. Under pressure from his uncle, Jon returns to Whispering Cove for the annual festivities, but he's counting down the hours until he can hop a Christmas Eve plane back to his Miami medical practice.
Chef Lila Sheppard left the big city and its fast-talking men for Whispering Cove, hoping to settle down with a nice, small-town boy. Until Mr. Picket Fence appears, though, she's not opposed to a tango on the wild side. When Jon shows up - gorgeous, hot and temporary - she figures Santa delivered her Christmas present a few days early.
Soon they're heating up cold, wintry nights, but as they get lost in each other's arms, Lila begins to realize their brief affair has become something more. Yet she wonders if there's enough magic in Whispering Cove to show Jon that love can heal all hearts...and that there's only one place he belongs.
Warnings: Contains enough passion to melt ice, and turn any blustery wintry night into a hot, sultry holiday.

A Christmas Story to heat up those holiday nights
Silk is a charming, sexy/sweet, heat up the sheets, Christmas novella. Jon Carver is adverse to celebrating Christmas but when his Uncle Errol calls him back home, he heads out to Whispering Cove and the painful past that he tried to leave behind. Little does he know that his Uncle is a meddling matchmaker and thinks that the lovely chef of the B&B would be a perfect match for his nephew and a way to get him to come home for good. Lovely Lila Sheppard is a tempting package and one look at Jon throws her for a loop.
"Lila Sheppard took one look at the gorgeous man standing on her front porch and wondered if Santa delivered her Christmas present early. And if so, when could she start unwrapping him?"
Lila is more than willing to take a chance on the deliciously tempting stranger, even if he insists he's only staying a few days. She's also not afraid to let him know that she likes what she sees. Sassy and straight forward, she refuses to let Jon hole up in the B&B and drags him around to Christmas events in the town, even though all he wants is to avoid everyone and the memories the town brings. As she warms his bed, and his heart, Jon begins to wonder if maybe Christmas miracles could come true.
A perfect novella for the holidays, I loved the characters and the small town vibes. Errol is mischievous, Lila is spunky and Jon is just plain swoon worthy. An enchanting tale of the Christmas spirit and love that can heal even a heart that doesn't believe that he deserves it. A wonderfully written 5/5 star read.
    Hot Christmas story!
This story is part of Cathryn Fox's Whispering Cove series! A hot Christmas story!
Jon Carver is heading back home for the holidays because his uncle Errol has insisted that he needs to be home for this holiday season, both which Jon has disliked since the Christmas that his parents were killed in a car accident. This year however, coming home is bittersweet because he has the opportunity to meet and spend the holiday with Lila Sheppard. Lila runs the local B&B out of Jon's childhood home and she has more than piqued his interest.

Back Home at Firefly Lake is my most favorite book
What did you love best about this story?
Everything!! Absolutely everything!! Ive loved this series since the very beginning. What I love the most is the genuinity of the characters, the authenticity of their relationships with family, friends and significant others, and the different kind of situations that make every book of this series amazing.
Back Home at Firefly Lake is my most favorite book of the series. Cat and Lucs story is heartwarming and romantic and beautiful.
This story has two kinds of new chances. Cat is a single mom who works really hard to give her daughter the best she can, and Luc is a widowed a former hockey player who is trying so hard to get back his life on track. I love how their stories collided and find what they wasnt looking for in each other. <3
And of course, I always love children in books, and Amy, Cats daughter, is amazing.
What about Karissa Vackers performance did you like?
I loved that her voice and inflections matched the personalities of all the characters in this book, but what I loved the list about Karissas narration was that she pour her whole heart to make Cats emotions more real. There was a particular scene at the end of the book when I was on the edge of my sit, my heart was pounding and aching for Cat and Karissa made me feel more for Cat and everything that was happening.
Would you listen to Back Home at Firefly Lake again? Why?
I actually need to listen the audios of the first two books of the series and of course, repeat Back Home Firefly. I love this series and Im happy to be able to repeat it on audio. <3
    Any additional comments?
Sighhhhhh This book brings the HEA of the main characters from the first two books and I couldnt be happier for them all. I wish there was more about this amazing group of people.

    Fun Read with Important Message
I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of this book - it was an interesting but relevant angle (a la "The Bachelor") and it struck more chords in feminism and the general injustice of gender roles than I would have expected, and I enjoyed that aspect of it. The settings and characters were all consistent and detailed. Overall pretty well written.
The only negative - and this was small and particularly annoying to me - is the main female lead is described throughout the text as being a bombshell - hourglass curves, inherent sensuality, very Sofia Vergara, for example. But perhaps 75% of the way through the book the author describes her as "5'1'' and 104 pounds," which...what? Seems to go along with a distinct reluctance in media to describe attractive women as anything more than 115, but this was particularly ridiculous.
    No Trouble with this Book
Elena Suarez went on Marry Mr. Perfect to get recognized. She wants to be an actress. She wasn't planning on falling in love. But she did and got her heart broken and was lied to by Daniel, Mr. Perfect. Due to the art of T.V. and editing she also got a nickname, the slutty suitorette. Now the show is over, it has been dropped by the network and she is trying to live down the nickname she was left with.
Adam Dylan, secret service to the President, was quietly fired due to leaving his detail to save a woman in a burning building. Now he has a "hero" status he hates, and he is a bodyguard to the rich and famous. He isn't sure he likes his job much either. He was given a house by the mother of the woman he rescued but doesn't feel it is his, he isn't feeling like anything is his anymore.
Elena and Adam meet at the wedding of one of the suitorettes. He takes care of a jerk that is trying to have his way with Elena, just another man thinking of her as the slutty suitorette, he found her cornered in a bathroom by the guy and very graciously walked him out of the wedding reception. After he did that Elena and Adam talked a bit.

Can you say "50 First Dates"
I received this audiobook free for an honest review. When I first started listening to this story, I thought the author was repeating herself. Then I realized this book is very similar to the movie "50 First Dates". I can't imagine the redundancy Cypress and Bree's friends went through, plus the hurt Bree went through over and over again. Overall the only disappointment I had was that I couldn't buy the next book, yet, to find out how this story continues. There are really two love stories in one. The two narrators did a great job with the characters. I enjoyed this book enough to buy the next one, when it comes out.
    great book
I had a hard time the first couple chapters understanding what was going on. Once I understood it turned out to be a great book. The narrator's were fantastic, they had many characters to differentiate between.
Five Enthusiastic Stars For This Awesome Romance!
Bree thought she'd found her soulmate, but instead found heartache when she walked in on her boyfriend Cypress with another woman. A year later Bree thinks she's finally moved on, but then Cypress walks out of the house next door and announces that he's her new neighbor.
I don't want to spoil the story for anyone, so I won't go any further. I just have to say I 100% recommend this one. If you don't like reading books about cheating partners and believe 'once a cheater, always a cheater', I'd steer clear of this book. If you believe that people can change and redeem themselves, you're going to love this one. I've always been a member of the first group, but this author converted me! The stark difference between how Bree and Amelia view Cypress shows just how much he's changed.
I think Bree and Cypress have potential to be great together, based on some of their good days. I loved how the author made each morning different, and it never seemed repetitive. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series!
Although Bree and Cypress do spend a lot of the book arguing, Lia Langola brought a vulnerability into Bree's voice that made her likable. I think if I had read this book, I might have been irritated with Bree rehashing the same mistake. But the narrator's voice made me remember her heartache. I loved her voice for Bree and Cypress, and her narration pulled me into the story. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.
    I need the rest
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I need the others. The narration was very good, this story reminds me of the movie 50 First Dates but better because there are some memories coming back to Bree, she remembers her friend and is reestablishing a relationship with them and trying to be friends with the husband she didn't know she had or why she would marry him after their breakup.

I love how I always feel as though I am in ...
These Forrester brothers always leave you wanting more. Travis is no different from the rest, he just can't seem to get out of his own way when it comes to affairs of the heart. Chryssa, on the other hand has known for awhile where her heart lies. I love how I always feel as though I am in Alaska with them. The imagery is clear I could just about see the landscapes that Chryssa was sketching and painting. The characters are well developed, and reads so smoothly. I love how Ms. Thomas brings in those we have met in previous books, without it being too much, like family. I can't wait to read Dane's story which should be next. 5/5 cross posting to My Reading Reality and Amazon
    Phenomenal
I just loved this book. The entire series is fantastic. The characters are so realistic. You can feel like you are right there in the midst of the story. The Forresters are a wonderful loving family. I feel sad when the stories end as I feel like I'm saying good-bye to close friends.
I highly recommend this book (really the entire series) to anyone who loves a true heartfelt romance.
    5 Fun Sweet Stars!!
5 Fun Sweet Stars!! Another great sweet story in the Alaskan Hero series, nobody writes Alaskan stories like Rebecca Thomas. I loved seeing the story play out for Travis and Chryssa, they are perfect. If you haven't read this series, I highly recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
    An Alaskan treasure
Love, life and nature are magically intertwined in these stories. After visiting Alaska, I close my eyes and all of the scenes in these stories come to life. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
    Another winner!
I DIDN'T get a free copy as an advance reader - and I NEVER pay this much for a book - but I absolutely loved all the other Alaskan Hero books and had to read this one as soon as it was available. So for the last two hours I've been sitting at my computer (where I was supposed to be working on several other projects that NEED TO GET DONE - but I was reading this book instead. Now I'm teary-eyed at the beauty of it all and am dying to hear more about the Forresters and Gold Creek. Yes, the scenery sounds spectacular, which I'm sure it truly is, but the characters are the selling point for me. Thanks, Ms. Thomas, for another winner - now get to working finishing up the next one. I'll try to get everything done BEFORE it comes out so I won't feel so guilty about dropping everything to read it!

    Members Reviews:
    So much angst
I have listened to a couple of L.A. Witts books and have so far never been disapointed, but this book did it. We are puched head first into a separation between 2 of 3 members of a triad, no real background of any of them except that Theo and Cam are married for years and Nate are there rockstar boyfriend that are finaly out on his first consert tour with his band. The first thing that happens are that Cam meet up with Nate and tell him the bad news about the separation BUT both of them still love him and want to continue to see him separately, he is also told that Theo and Cam are working on talking about it... yeah they arnt. The whole book is a cluster f-ck with angst and drama and basically the only break you get from it is when they have sex with Nate... We get some tiny info how they all met and how they ended up together but it came verry late in the story and by then you are so tired of all the drama you just dont care. Its obvious from the start that Theo and Cam need help from a conselor or pysiologist but they out right refuse which makes everything worse. And that they refuse to involv Nate in it all made me mad, if they are a triad, act like it! Instead its like a costedy battle between parents of who get to have the kid on the weekend!
I considerdd to not even finich this book but Greg Boudreaux kept me in it to the end, he captured all there hurt, sorrow, love and joy with his amazing voice and made the book a little better than if I read the story myself.
Sad to say I dont recommend this book, was just to much angst (and I usually dont mind that) and no real story for me to tell anyone to give it a shot.
Three sexy men, life is complicated
This is not an action book. It is not a typical rock star book, nor is it a stereotypical ménage.
This is a relationship book. Real men, realistic situations, and painful separations.
    I loved it.
Honestly, it did take a bit of time to orient myself as I am accustomed to action moving the story forward. With this book, often it is the lack of action that propels it into uncharted heart-breaking territory.
As this story involves three men, you could call it a ménage, but as Ms. Witt understands, in terms of polyamory this is a true triad.

    Great sports romance!
Score is a college football romance read about Cal and Bee. Bee does not want to be around or date a football player because of past history and Cal can't wait to find out more about Bee, This is a fun and playful read and then throw in a little suspense when there is an ex that shows up! Sarah Puckett does a great job with the narration on this story.
    great read
Story: This was a fun read~ The characters were relate-able and easy to root for. I enjoyed watching this relationship develop.
Narration: Narration was great. no complaints~
I totally enjoyed this book :)
    Good college football story
Dont let Sarah Pucketts performance stop you from reading this book. The characters and story are very good , however Sarahs narration sounds like a Mom reading to a toddler... many times I was unsure if she was doing the male pov or the female... also wasnt any real feeling to her interpretation... just like reading.... Christine did write a very good book... some intrigue, a surprise or two, and a good ending...
    Great Read
Score by Christine Bell was a good read. It is the first book in the Skin in the Game series. Bee has been assigned to be Callum's Physical Therapist. Things heat up in this great book. I enjoyed reading this book.
    Great beginning to a series.
This book is great! A few humorous spots that make the story flow so well. I love the way the enemies to friends to lovers came about. Love seeing the story progress and the surprise towards the end was the perfect touch. So happy with the way it ended and cant wait to read the next in the series.

He's been asked to represent Scarlett Reyes, a woman accused of murdering her police officer husband in cold blood. All the evidence points to Scarlett being guilty and Jaxon is sure it's an open and shut case.
But when he meets his client, he can't help but feel that she's innocent and that there's more to the story than meets the eye. With a bit of digging, he uncovers a connection to the notorious Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club and realizes that Scarlett's case is a complicated and difficult one. It certainly doesn't help that the two share an immediate and passionate attraction. Will Jaxon be able to prove Scarlett's innocence, or are the two doomed to fail both in court and as a couple?

    Excellent
I really loved this one. Jaxson and Scarlett's story is fun, flirty, and sexy with a bit of legalese thrown in. It's very well written and the whole cast of characters are great. There should be lots of great stories ahead. I definitely recommend this one.
Had some issues with this one ...
The book cover and synopsis reeled me in, folks. However, this authorâs writing style seems to be hit and miss with me. Let me first openly admit Iâm usually not a fan of dual first person point of view storytelling, especially when it is paired with lots of inner monologues rehashing what was just said or what they should or shouldnât be doing. Over use of the word âIâ becomes inevitable, resulting in eye twitching and disengagement for this reviewer, and that is exactly what happened here. In book 1, Breaching the Contract, it was handled better, likely because it was told only from the heroineâs first person POV and inner dialogue was reined in more.
At first, the storyline itself was very intriguing, but at around 33%, everything seemed to be resolved. Then it morphed into a sing songy tone with our damsel in distress turning into a âpoor is me though Iâm very wealthyâ about everything under the sun, including her lack of talent/insecurities in the bedroom. When crude topics of a smexy nature popped up between this barely knew each other couple, I began to feel sorry and embarrassed for both of them. You see, another pet peeve I have is when the heroine is made to look stupid and overly naive and a hero who becomes overly sappy. It started to feel like a contest of words over why the other one was more special and who liked each other more.
At 40%, when they run into one of the women Jaxon had on his speed dial for his routine, meaningless hookups, I was disappointed to find he was a previous manho. Sure, he claims it was because he was so busy with his job he didnât have time for a relationship. But pleading that as a defense just doesnât work with this avid romantic at heart. Neither did his comment about how that woman has no shame, which is precisely why he liked to **** her. Hey, his words, not mine. Somehow Scarlett magically reforms him though.
I could go on about how their lusty/smexy scenes did not feel very romantic, but whatâs the point. This time around some key concepts didnât work.
