The First Time I was Homeless I was 14 Years old. It taught me quite a bit. How to survive! My first car kept me warm, my school kept me fed, and my job helped me with income. I cant describe the experience into words. All I can say is I learned a lot. I feel like I had to use my mind to solve problems most kids take for granted. How to stay clean? Don’t use soap to wash your clothes, use cardboard to stay warm etc. I had to grow up fast, I got a job, a license and a car my first 3 months of being homeless because I was forced to if I wanted to survive. Hopefully people will listen and learn from this podcast. I promise you will learn how to make money but remember it’s about the journey. I recommend being homeless for three days, continue going to work, school and pretend like everything’s normal. You can do it but I promise after the third day you will be happy to go back home, have a nice meal and shower in warm water.
