Artimus Pyle discusses the horrific Skynyrd plane crash, which happened on October 20, 1977 in rural Mississippi, and still resonates around the world today. In 2020, Cleopatra Records & Films released entitled Street Survivors: The True Story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash that depicts Pyle’s memories of the before and aftermath of the crash. He wrote the outline of the story that was made into the film.
