In this episode J' shares her coming out story in honor of pride month. She shares about some of the stresses she's had to go through being a black gay woman, how she views herself and how the the world views her. Jake and J' touch on lesbian sex, the difficulties of being black and gay, why lesbians seem to be more accepted, and times J's been mistaken for a man. This one is a bit of an emotional doosy. We had some listeners request that we share on some childhood traumas. In this episode Jake shares about what he went through losing a parent at a young age. We think it is important to share these things. Life isn't all roses, in fact there can be a lot more thorns. SBS is all about how to pull through that and welcome the impactful changes that these traumas, stresses and bumps in the road can bring upon us. It is an emotional episode, but hopefully some of you out there can find it helpful.
