Stephen Leafloor, founder of BluePrintForLife, holds a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and brings over 30 years of experience in probation, wilderness programs, street work with youth at risk, residential group homes, child protection, and community outreach. He has been an active participant in the hip-hop culture since 1982 and completed his master's thesis on this culture and its significance for educators and social workers in 1986.
In 2016, Stephen was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross by Canada’s Governor General David Johnston. His impressive dance career includes performances for legends such as James Brown, Ice-T, Grandmaster Flash, Black Eyed Peas, and George Clinton. His dancing has been featured on Much Music, in music videos, and documentaries. He has also performed for the Kirov Ballet of Russia and opened for La La La Human Steps at Canada’s National Arts Center.
Stephen has consulted and run workshops for Cirque Du Soleil on numerous occasions. Stephen co-founded the Canadian Floor Masters with Kid Quick in 1983, establishing it as Canada’s oldest breaking crew.
