Welcome back to Strikers Corner! With this episode it is the second installment of “What’s Up Brotha?” Understanding Black Masculinity…..in this episode I held interviews with Black men and asked them some question pertaining to the subject of masculinity and black masculinity and their own personal experiences. Hopefully you can take away a couple of lessons and apply them to your own personal life, and if not hopefully you learned something about this subject and can spread the word to your friends and family! Long time no listen! A lot has happened in my life the last time you heard me but here’s a small update…..I graduated with my masters! My Masters In Liberal Arts showed me so much and I am blessed to have had to opportunity to complete it so quickly! One of the biggest projects that I had to do was my Capstone Project which was the deciding factor in me graduating so I had to figure out what I was going to do for the project. What better way to do it than a podcast! The topic I chose was close to home for me which was understanding the concept of black masculinity in America and further expanding on it. This first episode talks about my sources and my reasoning behind the project with episode two mainly being interviews on the topic as a whole. This project was a lot of fun and I wanted to share it with y’all so I hope you enjoy this first episode and come back for episode two!
