True teachers at heart, Joanne & Renee love to unpack and inquire into common misconceptions around learning new things & this week has had them reflecting on the common misconception that the divine feminine is only about females stepping into their power. In this episode, they dive into a conversation celebrating the men in their lives and how labelling feminine energy as only a female thing is 100% not the case. Conversations around a beautiful balance between the light & dark, sun & moon and yin & yang are used to support this thinking as well as personal stories about the males in their world who prove each day that a balance between the two is the key. Elisa shares some the ways in which women can reconnect to their bodies be that the physical, spiritual and emotional body through self love and embodiment. Book: In the Flo - Alisa Vitti

What does it mean to be vulnerable? Brene Brown is the queen of vulnerability and her ability to explain what this means in regards to showing up in the world as your true self  has been a big inspiration for Joanne and Renee. Her wisdom is one of the driving forces behind this week’s episode.

As Brene shares;  “We can choose courage or we can choose comfort, but we can't have both. Not at the same time. Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it's having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it's our greatest measure of courage.” In this episode, Joanne and Renee share where in life they are showing up as their true self and where they are hiding and unpack what has helped them to become more vulnerable in time.

In episode two, Joanne and Renee unpack through the power of story and vulnerability the ways in which they are navigating a second stint of retreat time for some communities in Victoria, Australia. As per usual, both women are not afraid to reflect on ways in which they are shifting, changing and constantly working on parts of themselves in order to strip back all of the story and live authentically and be grounded in a somewhat unusual time in their lives. They share their love of the simple things in life, talk about how vital balance and communication are in these uncertain times and reflect on ritual and routine and how having a balance of both is an essential key to living in the moment.
