The pole fit community's perception of strippers has done a total 180. In 2015, they took to social media to distance themselves from strippers with the #NotaStripper movement, even using it as a marketing tactic. Fast forward to today and being "pro-stripper" is suddenly trendy. However, the damage caused by #NotaStripper still lingers, and many strippers remain wary of pole fit spaces. 

In this episode, we unpack the whorephobia that fueled the #NotaStripper movement, why we believe strippers shouldn’t have to be grateful to the pole fit community for their belated change of heart, as well as reacting to a cringe anti stripper video “Why I Pole Dance.”
