I (stand-up comedian Cory Michaelis) am back with Season Two of Stripper Whisperer and I couldn't be more excited to have Chloe (@stripperstoriespodcast) from the Stripper Stories podcast as our guest!
Pandemic can't break our stride, pandemic can't slow us down, oh no...we got to keep on movin'! Shout out to Matthew Wilder who I thought was British like this week's cheeky guest, Chloe - making her our first international (sorry, I don't count Canada) guest. I was super excited - and nervous - to have another podcast host on an episode. So many firsts. What isn't a first is that she's an astounding stripper and live virtual sex worker like many of our past guests.
Listen, subscribe, rate, and review if you're nasty.

We are very excited to announce that Season Two of "Stripper Whisperer" will be released on Monday, April 26th at 8am EST. For Episode One, comedian Cory Michaelis interviews the incomparable "Chloe" from London - she's a funny, charming, and irreverent host of her own stripper-themed podcast called “Stripper Stories!”.
If you’re a listener from Season One, welcome back and thank you for staying subscribed even though we took the year off. COVID was very serious and detrimental to so many people worldwide as well as - not nearly as importantly - taking a real toll on the entertainment business and kept Cory from touring to do comedy and interviews. But once everyone got used to virtually meeting, it was actually much easier for him to snag interviews. You can imagine that trying to book them in person while I was on the road doing comedy wasn’t the easiest, like "hey I have this podcast in my hotel room I'd love you to come do it" uhhhh...sure you do buddy...I'm not coming to your hotel room to do your "podcast". So, going virtual has been far less intrusive and allowed Cory to interview women from amazing and exotic places all of the world, Chloe from London, women in Latin America, and Canadians.
For those of you who are brand new to the podcast, here’s the deal. I love going to strip clubs, they’re very interesting to me and I’ve learned there are so many similarities between strippers and comedians so I want to learn all about the women (and hopefully some men soon!) who work in them. Have you ever wondered what it’s really like to be a stripper? Are the things you think about them and their job accurate? Do they feel empowered or is it degrading like a lot of people think? Are they putting themselves through college or supporting kids or something else OR, and have you ever even considered this, just doing a job they enjoy that pays them well? Crazy idea right!? What are their dreams and goals and are they really ALL that different from other women? And, whether you frequent strip clubs or not, how can we all do a better job of supporting the women who work in this industry and perform what truly is a beautiful art form and a legitimate service - just not full service. Although, some are happy to charge you for that outside of the club in a safe and legal way.
So, join Cory Michaelis as he gets behind the G-string and interviews strippers from all over the world to learn what it’s like working in the clubs, what their lives are like outside of the club, and how we can all be better customers in their space.
We think you’ll be intrigued AND surprised by what you hear.
You can get the first episode of Season Two on Monday, April 26th and a new episode will be released every Monday at 8am. BUT, if you scroll down you can listen to all of Season One right now and why not start with episode one and Portland’s Elle Stanger. We would love it so much if you supported the podcast by subscribing on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, or Stitcher and giving us a 5 star review with some nice words. And if you’re a stripper who would like to be interviewed, please reach out to Cory on INSTAGRAM. Also, go HERE to follow Cory on all the things.
A lot of listeners have expressed curiosity about the impetus for this podcast. Like, why interview strippers and why me? So, I thought it would be a great idea to release my history frequenting strip clubs and how that has shaped and influenced my choice to interview the women (and eventually men) who work in the industry. Much of my intrigue comes from me seeing it as a very similar career to mine as a stand-up comedian. But there’s much more to it than that. So, listen to the second episode from inside the Champagne Room with Andrew Rivers (@andrewjrivers) where I talk about my first trip to a strip club – Spearmint Rhino in Boise, Idaho – by myself after not having had sex for 9 months. The video is up now on Patreon – check it out and subscribe.
This episode has a lot of super interesting wrinkles but our guests skin is flawless. Hether (@hethercomic) shares stories of stripping, being a burlesque dancer and a show producer, battling breast cancer, and pursuing stand-up comedy. She has had a very full life and I’m happy to share that she’s cancer free and will continue to live a full life. The video is up now on Patreon – check it out and subscribe.
Kelz (@jkellykelz_)is our first stripper has worked in the midwest and on the east coast and I’m pretty she’s our first veteran. She has a great life story with lots of fun individual stories involving rappers and wild ATL night and strip clubs. She welcomed me in her home for a great interview that, aside from a pee break and my external hard drive failing (no video on this one), was as smooth and as chill as can be. I feel like I make friends with all the strippers I interview but what’s cool about Kelz is that she lives about 10 minutes from me – I see brunch and strippers in our future! Patreon for the vid!
For the first time and 100% not the last, Cory forgets to hit the record button and loses the first few minutes of his interview with the lovely Nadia from Portland, Oregon (@thenadeshikoyamato). It actually makes her feel a little more comfy to have a trial run and even though Cory can’t pronounce her Insta handle, the “Take Two” interview goes great. Check out her Insta and be a peach and rate and review the pod. positively!

Natalie isn’t a stripper but she’s in a related industry – I’d say a cousin to strippers – as a bikini barista. What is that you ask? Women (and probably some men?) dress scantily (VERY scantily in some cases) and work in espresso stands on the side of the road or in parking lots of shopping centers making scorching hot coffee (and hot chocolate when I roll through) for folks who want to pay a little extra to see a lovely lady. I could do a lot of bad jokes about it but I won’t – just listen! Oh, and check out Natalie on Instagram, it’s a good follow! Aaaaand Patreon for the video.
One of Cory’s friends from Portland joins him this week on the pod. Sasha (@saintsashaa) and Cory go back years to a wild night they can’t even speak of (for legal reasons). They DO talk about all sorts of other kooky shit though – including what it’s like to come out – as both a stripper and a lesbian – to your parents. Check out the episode and give us 5 stars and subscribe if you’re nasty. Patreon for the video!
In a very special episode, Cory interviews long time strip club DJ, Bart Stewart (@revbartstewart). Listen to the “Reverend’s” stories about working with strippers in Spokane and Idaho. And, go check out the video and you’ll see that Bart looks EXACTLY what you’d think a strip club DJ looks like on Patreon.
