This week, I (stand-up comedian Cory Michaelis) have quite the interview for y'all. Dani, a woman who attended the school I used to teach at, has pursued a career as a sex worker. She isn't a stripper but is certainly in the industry and you'll be very intrigued to hear what kind of work she does. She followed @stripperpodcast on IG (and so should you!) and as we were discussing a time to interview she was like "do you remember that I was a student at your school?" - I didn't but wasn't going to bail for that reason. Listen to the interview which, understandably, has a couple awkward moments.

Cory has another podcast where he and his best friend, Andrew Rivers, do monologue jokes each week for a comedian guest/audience member and then BS with them for a bit. That's it! We wanted to share it with y'all. Enjoy or ignore :)

Cory and Andrew shake it up a little this week by moving the podcast release to Tuesdays and appropriately swapping stories with Mark Normand -co-host of "Tuesdays with Stories". In addition to being hilarious and quick-witted, Mark is one of the hardest working fellas in standup and is constantly writing jokes and talking comedy. It was super fun to open mic some of our stinkers with him riffing and razzing.

This week, I (stand-up comedian Cory Michaelis) am a little late because I was golfing in the middle of nowhere the last 4 days (and didn't prepare in advance...sorry!). I trade barbs with Alice from Tulsa, Oklahoma! Forewarning that the audio isn't perfection but the episode is, just like when Chandler accepted gum from Jill Goodacre on "Friends"...ok, that's an obscure reference but I've been re-watching the series since the reunion show. Anyway, Alice is the best and even came out to a show when I was in Tulsa (but left without rescuing me from the old housewives who were trying to hit on me!).

She emphasizes the value of strippers educating themselves about the proper and safe ways to dance through some form of training or teaching.
