Attract positive people, environments, and feelings. You will notice the more positive you are the more positive the entire situation will become. Having a positive mindset will allow you to overcome, move on and forgive.

Attract the right people by surrounding yourself with those that speak highly of themselves. Also find individuals that are actively boosting their mental, physical and emotional health. You can find these individuals are local gyms, support groups, free outdoor events, and classes.

I attended the following therapy, classes and/or workshops to become more positive and attract positivity in my life.

I began giving gratitude each morning and listening to podcasts or youtube videos titled Words of Affirmation.

I also took a sheet of paper and wrote down all things I bring to the table.

I suggest you doing that too. It will encourage you to be positive and grateful. You will also begin to value yourself more.

Journaling will also help you.

Mark not only shares his knowledge about AI and automation he questions ME about parenthood. He shares is how and why. He is very successful, passionate and committed to helping others.

We talk about marriage, entrepreneurship, being uncomfortable, and the joy of having kids. Mark encourages parents to be present with your children. Put down the phone and the to do list. “It’s important to play too”. When it comes to understanding your spouses needs after 15 years of marriage, it can be tough. We talk through this and how we are making our marriages a priority.

Before ending the podcast, Mark challenges me to have kids! Why not he asks. I share my “why not”. For the record, we did try but were not successful. There are days we do think “we would have a pretty cool kid” or wish we had someone to take over our companies and continue our legacy. Because we don’t have our own, we are able to be a great aunt and uncle to our four nieces and four nephews. Plus, great mentors to so many kids that we interact with daily. We are grateful for our life and what we do have. I always say “I would not be able to do everything I do if i did have children”. Kudos to all the parents out there rocking the mom and dad title. Accept help, the facts, love, support and the apology.

Accept assistance and help from others when it comes to taking a task or responsibility off your plate. We have super powers and can handle most things but allow yourself to accept the much needed help.

Accept the facts and begin to embrace them. Fighting or not accepting the facts will delay your discovery and recovery process. It can be hard to do this but I learned to accept the facts, the situation and what I can control. You will too.

Accept your spouse’s love and support. At times, we allow anger and hate to push that person away when they are being sincere and genuine. You will also begin to look within love yourself more. With their support, you can make time and headspace for yourself.

Accepting the apology can be challenging for us all. We tend not to believe the person is sorry for leaving, betraying or being side tracked by work or something else. We desperately want them to apologize. When they do, we don’t accept it.

Avoid negative thoughts, people and environments. This is one of my four ground rules when it comes to deciding where to end or mend a marriage.

Avoid people that do not understand your story or situation. They have no clue what you have to gain or lose. They will offer non solicited advice that doesn’t apply to your life. Speak to those that have been on your journey only.

Avoid Negative Self Chatter.

Avoid rushing decisions to end your marriage. For the past, 3, 7, 10, or 20 years, you didn’t rush or end to know that you are now aware of your feelings and ready to face them, take your time to identify the key factors, triggers, issues and challenges. Take your time acknowledging your past.

Avoid having to know or understand every little detail. Focus on the big picture of your marriage. What value does it add to your life, family, and well-being.

Incorporate positivity in all aspects of your life.

You may need more than 3 minutes when it comes scheduling white space on your calendar or daily agenda. I suggest 30 minutes. White space is a necessity for positive mental and emotional health. It will provide you the energy you need continue taking care of you and others.

White Space is you doing NOTHING. I want to challenge you to DO NOTHING for a period of time. Allow your mind to wander.

I get you think you don’t have time but I bet you do.

How much time do you spend scrolling on your phone? 15 minutes a few times a day? That is potentially 60 minutes of wasted time and could be used to sit in silence with yourself.

When sitting in car line for 30 - 45 minutes, what are you doing? Could you be sitting there with your eyes closed and allow your mind to wander?

Do you ever arrive to your destination 15 minutes early? Do you jump on your phone or could you sit in silence for that period of time?

When you hit snooze, could you go back to sleep or lay there in silence with your own thoughts for 15 - 20 minutes?

We have the time but we fail to recognize our need for it. We are custom to giving all our time and energy to others. If you think about it, its pretty sad. I agree. Time to dry your eyes and take note of this idea and make time for YOU.

How much white space will you add to your calendar tomorrow?

I encourage you to make yourself a priority, NOW. Stop with the excuses. We are all tired of hearing about them and how tired you are.
