This week on Episode 21, we sit down with Brian Philpott, Founder of Signature Pools. Brian is married with 3 daughters and has 2 dogs! He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BS in Landscape Architecture.
After school, he lived the “cubicle life” for a while and realized that wasn’t what he wanted to do so he got out into the field. He worked as an employee of another landscaping business for a while, then, after a few years, he started his own landscaping business! You should see some of his work! It is beautiful! (Link is below) Both Jamie and Allie have had multiple pools designed and put in by Brian and his company.
Brian is a normal guy like the rest of us who let his fear motivate him instead of paralyzing him.

He works in wholesales and in every aspect of it (concepts/development/presenting products to market/he does it all)
Jason loves the gym and he does jiu-jitsu. He had his first cage fight in his late 30s when most guys are retiring!

Self Talk with Trevor Furlong _Ep 19 _ September 24th, 2019

Ep 19 is a Fun one! We have Trevor Furlong, Attorney in Oklahoma, Family man, OU Law School Graduate, Michigan raised, served in the Navy,  intelligent and a pretty cool guy as you will find out as you listen in on this episode!

We covered a LOT of ground. We got into some of Trevor's back story but once we got grasp on who he was and what he was about, we chatted about things such as Self talk, being a part of blended families, going into the military, music and as always, Trevor's Why in life.

Mr. Furlong dropped nuggets of wisdom all throughout the show. We assure you, mental tools are being  handed out like candy on halloween. Allie and Trevor will make you forget you're listening to a show and make you feel like you're in the room! Come sit in on their conversation!

The Bonus coverage was really fun! We talked about the legalization of marijuana and where that is going as far as sales, distribution, legalities and more. We have an excellent guest and episode for you this week on Episode 18! Rush Holson, a good friend and business partner to Strong Family Financial, comes in from IL and talks shop with us. 
Rush is from Orlando, Fl originally, ( he even has an Uncle that goes by “Gator” ) He attended SMU in Texas for his bachelors ( recently he started his MBA there as well ) 
He now resides in Illinois tending to United National Life which he affectionally called his 3rd child. 
Married to his wonderful wife, with 2 kids of their own, 
Rush’s character, work ethic, wisdom, and lifestyle exemplifies what a Strong LYFE should look like. 
This episode we talked about everything from leadership principles, being passionate about your craft, gratitude, failing on your own terms, family business and of course, as always, we talked about what moves Rush ( his WHY ).
Ultimately, we believe Rush showed us what the "State of Mind" of someone living a Strong LYFE should look like.

This week's guest of the Strong Lyfe show features Karen Guzman from Go Life. We called this one "Changing Family Trees Forever" because Karen said she can be summed up with just one word, "Pro-Life" The results of the work Karen and all of the team at GoLife is doing is literally affecting a change in people's Family Trees. One decision makes an entirely different story for everyone. 

Karen is currently employed as the Executive Director at GoLife Mobile Medical Inc.. Her passion is to see the sanctity, dignity, & value of life kept. Her purpose is to influence people, educate them, and walk anyone through the process who is walking through the valley of decisions that could potentially make a decision out of line with being pro-life. She clearly cares and the as you will hear in this recording, GoLife is doing unique things to make a difference in the community.

Episode 15 - August 27th, 2019

This week's edition of the Strong LYFE Podcast, we had guest, Coach and NFL Official, Clay Martin.

Clay is well known and respected in the Jenks, OK community. Currently, he is  the Basketball Coach there but has acted in other positions such as principle for example. He married his high school sweetheart and has been married to her for 21 years now. They have 2 children. He has been officiating since 2013 in the NFL.

Growing up, he wanted to be a Garbage man because he was impacted by one of the guys who picked the garbage up in his neighborhood. So he thought that's what he wanted to do too. After a few years, being in sports, his coaches and teachers impacted him too so he decided with his career, he wanted to do the same for other young people. That is exactly what he has done.

In the state of Oklahoma, most know, working in the education system isn't going to make you rich, to say the least. In order to help provide a little more so their family could have the dream fulfilled of having his wife be a stay at home mother, he began to referee here and there locally. One thing led to another and now in the NFL. We get into that story on the show.

Coach Clay is a man of character and sure to impact your day as you listen to this episode.

This week on episode 14 of the Strong LYFE podcast we have "friend of the show" Dr. Scott Reid. (Long time Friend to Butch). Dr Scott is a Tulsa native,  graduating from Jenks, spending 1 year in Tulsa University, Completing his Doctorate at Oklahoma University OU, and having spent time in the U.S. Army in locations like Hawaii & Afghanistan. 

This is an excellent conversation. We talk about a lot. Whether or not the US Army is something he would recommend to someone wanting to be a surgeon. How the idea to become a surgeon came to him and how he decided what type of surgeon he would become. 

Since he has been friend with Butch a very long time, they shared some fun "Back in the day" stories! 

The episode was definitely not all fun and games. Dr. Scott had some wonderful "gems" for us. You will walk away from listening to this episode being inspired and excited to be a better you with a few more tools to live a Stronger Life.

On this weeks episode of the Strong LYFE podcast.... we have Oklahoma Lawyer, Rob Coffey Jr. Rob is a Senior Partner at Coffey, Senger & McDaniel, P.L.L.C., a law firm based in Oklahoma. He concentrates his practice in defending motor carriers, manufacturers, construction companies, NCAA coaches, insurance companies and their insureds. But he saw as simple as "Helping People". That exact thing, is what he said inspires him. He is living a Strong LYFE so maybe we can all take notice.

Born in Norman, Oklahoma, he is a lifelong Oklahoman. He has been married for twenty years to his wife Ginger and they have four children. Their family is active in their church and the community. Mr. Coffey enjoys golf, wake-boarding, scuba diving and snow skiing. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1989 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa in 1992.

Rob shares about his upbringing and where his inspiration for his path comes from. More than anything this episode is packed full of Wisdom. Our guest is a lawyer so he is a sharp communicator. Good communicators sometimes can be so good and make it look so simple and easy you can overlook the value in the words coming out of their mouth. Our encouragement to you is to :Lock in" on what is shared and take it to heart because this is a great episode! Other things that are talked about is "How to succeed' How to handle rejection - tenacity - and so much more!"
