Struggle City

What is there to say? This episode took longer than expected to edit and piece together. Should we get canceled for the length of time it took for Dave to produce this episode? Maybe. We talk about the nuance of cancel culture and the many people that have been affected by it for the good and the bad. All the different creators in the world that make cool stuff but do bad things. This talk devolves into a discussion on race and bigotry. #BLM #defundthepolice Follow us on our Social Media: Twitter @StruggleCity3 https://twitter.com/StruggleCity3 Instagram @struggle_city3 https://www.instagram.com/struggle_city3/?hl=en Facebook Struggle City https://www.facebook.com/strugglecity3/ YouTube Struggle City https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-2P2_a0sgxXhOx8aMZyQEw/featured TeeSpring Struggle City Outlet https://teespring.com/stores/struggle-city-outlet

In this one, the gang talks about the various hobbies if you can call them that honestly, that they had picked up throughout quarantine. Video games, aloe plants, cross-stitching and other random stuff is discussed in this episode. Oh and Dave is locked in the basement at some point. For some reason that is where he is recording this episode. Where will he record in the next one? #hobbies #darksouls #crossstitching #aloecontent #gardening #videogames #newhobbies Follow us on our Social Media: Gerald The Aloe Plant's Shop: https://www.redbubble.com/people/Gerald-AloeVera/shop?ref=account-nav-dropdown Twitter @StruggleCity3 https://twitter.com/StruggleCity3 Instagram @struggle_city3 https://www.instagram.com/struggle_city3/?hl=en Facebook Struggle City https://www.facebook.com/strugglecity3/ YouTube Struggle City https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-2P2_a0sgxXhOx8aMZyQEw/featured TeeSpring Struggle City Outlet https://teespring.com/stores/struggle-city-outlet

In this episode, there is a lot. Horror, tragedy, comedy. Movies! specifically, horror movies are what Casey and Miss talk about in this episode! from the campy and unknown to the AAA films that bring in the box office winnings they talk about it all in this rare over 40-minute episode. Dave is missing because he needed a hair cut but honestly, it is usually just Missy and Casey talking so this is a regular episode. We hope that you enjoy this episode.

In this one, the gang takes a look at their favorite behind the scenes stuff. From movies, animation, childbirth, and the muppets; there is something in this one for everyone! Miss dunks on everything throughout the episode and Casey hates on Disney. Dave, well he is Dave. This is an interesting one for sure! #BTS #Muppets #Disney #moviemagic #biology #criterion  Follow us on our Social Media: Twitter @StruggleCity3 https://twitter.com/StruggleCity3 Instagram @struggle_city3 https://www.instagram.com/struggle_city3/?hl=en Facebook Struggle City https://www.facebook.com/strugglecity3/ YouTube Struggle City https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-2P2_a0sgxXhOx8aMZyQEw/featured TeeSpring Struggle City Outlet https://teespring.com/stores/struggle-city-outlet

In this episode, Dave, Missy, and Casey explore death and the spirituality that surrounds it. We get into some wacky stuff in this one folks! It is not for the faint of heart if you are easily offended or suffer from a softshell. Jesus learns that he might have forgotten his safe word and we talk about Nirvana without even mentioning Kurt or nirvana. It is a wild ride and Dave seemed to have lost his voice in this one a little so we apologize for that, he sort of sounds like a robot in fast mode. Thank you for listening.

William Shakespeare, Colleen Hoover, Yokio Mishima, and Jack Morin. What do all of these fine people have in common? Well, I guess that only glue that sticks these folks together is that they all wrote something at some point in their lives. Two of them might be remotely historically important in some way and the other two well who the hell knows. Also by this point, Durgertime has hit over 1,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel! Huge congrats to him on that achievement! I don't know what else to write so here are some lines from the episode that I thought were funny.

"Ron Jeremy reading Romeo and Juliet"

"A Midsummer's Night Dickin'"

"I've got nothing on this topic"

"That's a SHIT reason!"

"Let's make History sexy!"

What movies or shows would you want to see be remade? Well we think that there are several that could do with a touch-up and a facelift. The Harry Potter movies are dreadful what happened to the novels! Percey Jackson and the Lightning Theif, more like Percy Jackson and this Movie sucks thief... am I right? Then there is the movie that shall not be named (Avatar the Last Airbender movie). Thankfully Netflix has graced us with the original series to enjoy while we are all stuck at home! In this episode that is totally not late at all we promise, but totally is late, we talk about lackluster heroes and villains that struggle to achieve their goals. What do Captain America and Frodo have in common? Apparently to the gang a whole lot! Journey with us as we find out that Miss has not seen several of the Captain America films and how much Casey dislikes Mineral Man! Dave is confused and lost the entire time and eventually ends up outside with nature. It was a rough recording session this time around but we appreciate you for sticking with us! Thank you for your continued support. We hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. In this thrilling episode of the podcast Dave. Casey and Missy talk about how living in isolation is going for the three of them... well two of them. After updating each other on their failing mental states they start to talk about their childhood and what they aspired to be when they grew up. David gets crowned as the one with the worst dreams and becomes the dead childhood king ruler of the killed dreams.  Miss Jenny makes an appearance to chime in on being loud in bed. Missy joins Hydra and takes a leadership position in the organization, specifically the great ideas branch. But this is an episode with a lot going on, somehow all on topic. So thank you for hanging out with us and stay safe! #Hydra #Marvel #Childhood #dreams #mentalstate #keepingittogether #washyourhands #tryingourbest

This is the kick-off episode of season three and as always we are starting off on a super high and happy note! The gang explores their inner thoughts and demons. How they deal with them and how crap they are at dealing with them, even at the best of times. Come with us on this self-reflective journey. Help us better understand why we are this way and how we can start exploring how to get better. Maybe we will follow your advice... no promises. #depression #mentalillness #selfhelp #help #innerthoughts #getgood #weneedhelp  Follow us on our Social Media: Twitter @StruggleCity3 https://twitter.com/StruggleCity3 Instagram @struggle_city3 https://www.instagram.com/struggle_city3/?hl=en Facebook Struggle City https://www.facebook.com/strugglecity3/ YouTube Struggle City https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-2P2_a0sgxXhOx8aMZyQEw/featured TeeSpring Struggle City Outlet https://teespring.com/stores/struggle-city-outlet
