Have you ever been truly thirsty?  Is your soul thirsty now?

Jesus is the only one who can truly quench your thirst.

God is our help and shield.

God blesses all who trust in Jesus - both the small and the great with salvation.

What made Israel special was not that they were a great people, but that God was present with them.

Likewise, the church is special not because of who we are or what we have done, but because God is present with us.  God has chosen by his grace in Jesus to make us His people (1 Peter 2:9-10)

In John 7, The people of Israel are asking,  "Who is Jesus?"

That is the most important question we will ever ask and answer.

Who is Jesus?  A good man?  A deceiver?  A prophet?  A sage?

Or is he the Son of God, Savior of the world, King of kings and Lord of lords?

You must choose.

There is no one like God.  No one or nothing compares!

In this segment of John 6, we see multiple responses to Jesus and the Gospel.  Some were faithless; some were fickle, and some were faithful.

Work for Food that Endures.

Work for that which lasts.  We must work; we must earn an income and acquire resources but we are not called to be consumed by those things.

Our calling is to bring God glory in thought, word, and deed.

Psalm 112 is an acrostic poem about the Godly Person.

It's about the person who fears the Lord and delights in God's Commandments.

It tells of the blessing God bestows upon such a person.

A little becomes much in the hands of Jesus.

Don't let what you think Jesus can and cannot do limit what he wants to do in and through you.

Sure you have doubts and fears; but if Jesus is calling, take the next faithful step(s).

Psalm 111 is an acrostic Psalm about God's works.

It's also a great Psalm to "pray back" to God!
