Are we following darkness or the light of the world?

Mary Magdalene was among the first to see the resurrected Lord and among the first evangelist.

She is a reminder that the Lord came to save all who will trust no matter how significant or insignificant we might feel!

Yes, Peter denied Jesus; but it was an act of momentary weakness.

Jesus knew that and restored him.

As Peter denied Jesus three times, three times Jesus asked, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?"

Three times, Peter responded yes; and three times Jesus commanded Peter to be obedient "Feed or Tend to my sheep or lambs."

God's steadfast love and faithfulness endures forever.  So let's join with people from all nations and praise the Lord!

Jesus' extravagant grace is not cheap grace.  It is not a license to sin; it should not be taken for granted.  Rather Jesus' grace is a motivation to live a changed life!

God Delivers.

His People Respond with praise and testimony!

Have you ever been truly thirsty?  Is your soul thirsty now?

Jesus is the only one who can truly quench your thirst.

God is our help and shield.

God blesses all who trust in Jesus - both the small and the great with salvation.

What made Israel special was not that they were a great people, but that God was present with them.

Likewise, the church is special not because of who we are or what we have done, but because God is present with us.  God has chosen by his grace in Jesus to make us His people (1 Peter 2:9-10)

In John 7, The people of Israel are asking,  "Who is Jesus?"

That is the most important question we will ever ask and answer.

Who is Jesus?  A good man?  A deceiver?  A prophet?  A sage?

Or is he the Son of God, Savior of the world, King of kings and Lord of lords?
