Comparison of Mary's humility and thankfulness to our Christmas celebrations.  Remember, if we never receive another mercy, the mercy we have received in Christ is more than we deserve!

Knowledge of God's Way should direct our way!

Mary is a model of faith as she believes, submits, and takes action.  Now it's our turn.  Do we believe Jesus is the Christ?  Have we submitted our lives to Him?  If so, how has that resulted in service?

Psalm 24

The humble way in which the Son of God entered the world reminds us that God can use anyone, anywhere, at any time, an in any way God chooses.

Nothing is impossible with God!

Luke 1:1-4 reminds us that Christianity is a biblical, historical, and verifiable faith.

In Luke 1:5-25, Zechariah and Elizabeth are a great example of remaining faithful in the disappointments and blessings of life.  Their story reminds us that God is always at work even when we cannot see it.

What a contrast!  God is Lord; but He is also our shepherd!

God is timeless and self-sufficient; yet he chose to be our Shepherd!

In Nehemiah 10, the Israelites made commitments that we too should keep.  The committed to: family, Sabbath keeping, stewardship, and recognizing we belong to God.

Psalm 22 is often designated "The Psalm of the Cross"

We consider today how it paints a prophetic picture of the crucifixion of Jesus.

Give Thanks to the Lord!  Develop an attitude of gratitude.
