Lydia Tár, BTS, Kanye West – everyone’s getting CANCELED!

As promised last week, Carl & Eitan make a promised transition away from film criticism and into business strategy, but not before spending a few minutes in TÁR Corner. They discuss the government-mandated breakup of K-pop giant BTS, and they spend the majority of the episode digging into the twin horrors of a Ye-owned Parler and an Elon-owned Twitter. This also offers Eitan & Carl a chance to talk through the plausibility of WeChat-like “super apps” in an American market.

After a mini fall break, Carl and Eitan are back in full swing.

They start by catching up on their reverse reviews for Avatar and Don't Worry Darling, before going through their now ongoing segment "Flight movies: the ones you love to hate". In this instance, they go through Jurassic World Dominion, Lightyear, and Thor: Love and Thunder.

After that, they share their disbelief at yet another Netflix strategy decision (shocking, we know), and then close the episode with a report about Eitan's trip to Walt Disney World.
