Ready for a prophetic word on freedom from THE VINEDRESER?
At the time of recording this podcast and writing this post to you, we are coming upon a holiday…the 4th of July here in the US.
So naturally I had freedom on my mind.
Two questions for you to ponder.
What is freedom mean to you?
And what does walking in freedom look like in your day in and day out days of life?
Now I realize you may know the meaning of freedom but you may be stuck in what that may actually feels or look like in your life.
I total understand.
First, let me be real and try to answer those two questions.
What does freedom means to me?
I can only find an answer by going to the Word and pulling from it the true meaning in my heart…
Freedom to me means Jesus has set me free as I’ve walked in belief of Him …
More on that with verses
2nd question..What does freedom mean to me in life.
Well, I get to wake up every day and CHOOSE whether I’m going to be lead by my soul…how I fee, what I’m thinking about or what’s going on in my body…OR..I can choose to be lead by my spirit.
For example…I can get up and think..”I NEED coffee”” I have a headache…and NEED coffee…or…
Or, I can get up..thank the Lord for the day..And say something in praise. I used to say “thank you Jesus for this day and praise your name all the way”..And then think it would be great to have a cup of coffee with you, Jesus and listen to what the Spirit is saying.
Freedom means I get to come from that place of rest and walk in HIS freedom…to rest to run…releasing my Voice from the overflow of Him..not the coffee..!!
So what are some verse to hang your hat…your hope
John 8:32 New King James Version (NKJV)
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Then I think of this “ultimate freedom” verse 2 Corinthians 3
For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
That is an exciting verse because if you read verses around it you can read how Moses veiled His face but even when he took it off the people’s hearts were hardened.
Veiled..I wonder if He had to wear a mask..
I digress..
But we with unveiled faces get to be face to face with HIM..the God of all glory.
How? the key is in verse 16
” But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”
So I will declare FREEDOM over you. I pray my voice will be used to unlock hope, and love to release you into your true freedom…in your mind, in your body, in your emotions…as you yield to the truth of what God is saying…to you…and not the world.
This kind of freedom releases joy in your day..no matter what you are facing…and that joy is your strength.
In His presence in fullness of joy…
Freedom. It is for you. Your life can radically shift and change as you open your heart and ask God to sweep into those areas of pain, drama, trauma, and shame.
He is so gentle to pull out the arrows in your heart, cleanse the wounds, and bring sweet comfort.
God knows your heart too. It is often when you let go with your mind of how something will work out and trust with your heart that your desired breakthrough happens. Believe and trust from your heart….
And worship while you wait! So, with your freedom coming in to reality, a beautiful vessel of honor comes forth.
One thing is for sure, the Word brings so much living hope to guide you as you manage life’s tests and have confidence in times of crisis.
So..get a cup of coffee and let’s hear what the Vinedresser says..
But first, a declaration: Jesus gives me freedom. I can live free from fear because His love conque...
