Making A Declaration As You Shift Atmospheres

Podcast Episode 110

Making a declaration over you in this podcast.

Even before this virus became pandemic, about 2 weeks before, I found myself “resting” way more than usual.

Literally…. more sleep… a few more naps. I knew part was from my fall and some from health changes.

This stuck out …. Your body sometimes can’t go where your spirit can!

So as I was staying awake one night, I felt Lord drop a media idea to speak into the atmosphere at such a time as this…..

These thoughts involved time with certain people who each will teach or speak to the atmosphere or to people cooped inside….

Then I finally fell asleep as the buzz of Holy Spirit was so intense. I dreamed about it…That I was on the air (radio)and took the idea in action without Barry’s approval (Old radio GM who I worked for and passed a few away years ago.  In the dream it was exhausting as I did the writing, scheduling and hosting..

I did talk to Dave for his thoughts…Don’t want to use this in any way of self promotion..He just listened..

It’s like..we are going to lay aside the coffee mugs and chats aside and take up our swords to fight on the airways to declare…

I remember back in 2012…after retired from radio for 6 years Dave challenging me asking what one of my greatest gifts were..He said prayer…on the radio.

“But I’m not on the radio any more!” I exclaimed as I had been retired for over six years.

What ensued, with the support of Dave, was over two years of simulcasting (before FB had live cameras) with Spreecast for video and Spreaker Radio for the radio side.

I’d get up at 6 am every day and pray. People could see me pray on video and I could see names and a profile pic of those joining us as they could text.  What was also amazing is my then 15 year old daughter joined me..She was on fire for Jesus. She’d read the “verse of the day” and I’d simply pray.  Anna stuck with me by my side for over a year. I eventually stopped after 2 years of doing this…as I landed a job with The Passion Translation doing their social media….

All of this was exhilarating at times and then exhausting. I actually have some of those prayers on a couple of YouTube Channels…One is called God’s Media Army.

Because of Dave’s leading I carried this out…. I would never have tried to do that without his go ahead and support.

Just thinking a few days ago about and then seeing friends like Roma Waterman encourage makes me think about all this.

But as I see so many rise up in their gifting and talking with Dave, I’m going to stay in my own lane and simple proceed with where HE has me.

I will do more podcasts and open up our Redeem the Voice Camp.

So making a declaration over you is so on my heart.

In this edition of the Kingdom Mentor Podcast, I step up to the microphone intent on speaking life.

This declaration was written by Wendy Backlund. I adlibed as I felt the Holy Spirit churn inside me:

How To Be Resilient – Episode #109

As I saddled up to my mic I couldn’t shake this thought: How to be resilient during this Corona Virus Scare.

Never mind that I already had this thought brewing in my mind before the news of closures.

The Master’s postponed. I never in my golf history mind could conceive that.

But here’s the deal. You knowing how to be resilient today could be the shift in the atmosphere to impact your home, your family, your state, your region.

In this episode from the Kingdom Mentor Podcast, I share how I believe you can.

Check these definitions first.

Resilient….able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions.

Behind resilience is a healthy soul who brings your mind, will and emotions to inner unity with the spirit of the living God inside of you.

Good news.

You can be this and one of the best steps right now to be resilient is to renew your mind.

The two biggest thoughts that came to me as my mind had a few wrestling matches this week were these two verses:

“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17 NKJV

So can a perfect God handle an imperfect world that has these nasty viruses hitting innocent people?

Yes. His love is perfected in you. Think on that. You may be one of the main keys as you pray, speak, and declare LIFE and HEALING.

Which brings this key on how to be resilient:

It’s 1 John 4:4…right above where we got that last verse:

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

If those two verses are not enough solid ways to walk resilient and be a part of the solution amidst the fears trying to do a slam down choke hold in areas of the world, follow me into the verses after verse 4.

“They belong to this world and they articulate the spirit of this world, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God, and whoever truly knows God listens to us. Those who refuse to listen to us do not belong to God. That is how we can know the difference between the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.” TPT

So in a way, this is war.

You can be the shift in the atmosphere just by standing strong and resilient in your faith.

What is the best thing for you to do in this battle?

Stay alert with the Word. Declare it friend. Speak it out into the atmosphere. Pray.

I get hyped up to express this in a way that God seemed to wire into my very DNA.

And that’s to step up to a mic and speak….the world is listening online.

Believing In Your Identity-Throw Your Heart Over The Bar

Believing in your identity and walking in it is a place to find your true voice.

It’s like being a trapeze artist. You have to let go to catch the bar coming to you. I remember this saying from years ago….”you have to throw your heart over the bar!”

I share this and other keys in this segment in Episode 108 from one of the most popular teachings at my Kingdom Mentor Academy called the Spirit Identity Series.

I have been wrecked for the ordinary every since my husband Dave said something that really clicked on the inside. He said, “Theresa…We are spirit beings having a human experience!”

I’ve discovered that as you learn to live from your spirit something awesome happens. You start to have breakthrough in your life and become an agent of sharing that breakthrough with someone else.

You learn to totally walk in His Presence, not afraid to follow and do what the Lord says. You know His Presence is the key to abide in Him daily.

You don’t have to be perfect to carry this anointing and grow in your spirit. You don’t have to strive to walk in the full power of this call.

It’s in your DNA. It’s all about being in the Vine–connected, seated, and found in Christ.

Light has shined on you. His Presence invaded as you surrendered. In that glory you have found forgiveness for your sins. You now reflect His majestic love. You hear His voice and share it.

You are His revivalist.  Many will come to this light in you, in the Vine. You will be the hero of your family bringing hope for restoration. You will be the repairer of the breach.

Your eyes will shine. You heart will be filled with joy as you walk in abundance of connections, wealth, and hope. God’s mercy will be lavished on you by His grace.

In this abiding walk in your spirit, as a breaker anointed messenger, you are beautiful and a joy to many. You are dressed with the clothing of salvation and draped with a robe of righteousness.

107 Episode-Special Interview-Process To Healing

What is a key to process to healing amidst trauma, current and past?

It can be easy to trip…and stir up past trauma which you have been healed.

How can you prevent this? (We do go over this in the Redeem Your Voice Camp)

Process. Be faithful to renew your mind in the process of going forward. Look forward with hope not backwards in regret.

You do not have to be tripped up by trauma.

So basic but so easy to be shot in the heart off that place if you start dwelling on the static instead of being unveiled in front of God…in intimacy…dependence…the place to trust.

Getting on page with God to see how He sees you, think what He thinks of you, be who He made you to be…alive, transformed in Him, be one with HIM, love as He loves.

God is all about process for progress not perfection!

I wrote this a while ago. It seems so fitting right now:

A short word for you:

The Shift Is here (process).

You may be in a tangled mess (process).

You may see no results (process).

You are waiting for promises to be fulfilled (process).

You feel you are stuck (process).

You are still praying for your wayward child (process).

The Shift. Is HERE. Please don’t give up on the Words God has spoken. Don’t freak out amidst….the Process to healing.

Process to healing CAN mean deeper intimacy with Him.

He is faithful!

The Trust Factor: The Well Of Intimacy And Dependence

Episode 106

The trust factor becomes so real when…you feel dropped down into a deep, dark well.

I have an excerpt for this edition of the Kingdom Mentor Podcast that I think you might relate to right now. I feel Holy Spirit want to reach out with hope for you in your pursuit of walking from your true identity with your voice.

I was upstairs in my home sitting in a chair I rarely sit in. It is a blue (grace) recliner that is so special to me. I nursed two babies in this lounge chair. 

The chair seemed to be ooozing out a motherly touch from God on me that spilled out into the microphone and camera as I was on one of our Heart Sync with The Father upper level times, that we have in conjunction with the Kingdom Mentor Academy.

After the consult, my heart was moved to share something Holy Spirit had laid on my heart that morning as I was praying for a few friends. I’m hoping this resonates with you.

One is when I say “market your voice’…I just don’t mean online. For example, I had one of our upper level clients said to me the other day… my precious client said…

“I get it. I’m a mom…and I understand God wants me to market my voice right where I am in my home for influence, to shift atmospheres, to make declarations over my children and my family….to be a marketing agent for His Kingdom“

YES..I about shouted. You got it!

And Yes, I’m a marketing specialist and love to help brands grow their voice online with the CARE Strategy but I’m just as passionate to see you…as a mom, teacher, leader..market your voice for influence…online or off.

Anyway… from the static (podcast #105) God lead me to this subject about intimacy with Him.

I’m learning that trust has two elements…intimacy and dependence with Him. And…I’m amazed He trusts us amidst the drop down into a deep well….and we find a place of communion with Him.

I will note here. God never pushes us down the well. Sometimes the circumstances of life, dreams that seemed lost, or problems in relationship can make you feel like you have been dropped!

Check this: Intimacy and dependence equals this trust that is available to you..

But what do you do when you feel dropped down into that deep well.

It feels damp and cold.

⠀

You strain in faith to see light but all you experience is the dark face of your fears staring back at you!

⠀

He is your rope to get out. But sometimes you simply have to hold on… and trust in the womb of intimacy in Him.

⠀

I hear Him say to you:

⠀

“I trust you with this process. Few are patient enough to trust me in this level of intimacy.

⠀

“It may seem cold, damp, and lifeless.

⠀

“It is not. I am near…. to the broken hearted and save those crushed in spirit.

⠀

“ You will learn that My Presence is here to warm your heart with My peace, to bring light and hope amidst the straining to hold on….

⠀

“I have not forgotten you. Nothing will compare to what I am going to do.

⠀

“I am doing something new because I can trust Holy Spirit in you to depend on Me to get you out.

⠀

“You will find a refreshment that will spill out to others.

⠀

“Again I say….I trust you with this pure water, this message.

⠀

“As I refresh you, I cause you to refresh others with words of life.

⠀

“Hold on now, child.

⠀

 

How To Get Past The Static To Go Forward In Your Dreams-Episode 105 On The Kingdom Mentor Podcast

How do you get past the static to go forward in what you know is in heart to be, to do, to walk in for this new year.?

Static?  What do I mean by that.

Well the other night by the end of the day I felt it. It was like this strange feeling, like impending doom, or a lost dream or….

You fill in the blank.

Maybe I was simply tired or hungry. I do admit it was better after Dave saying he won’t cook tonight and we could get some hot pizza for dinner. After the great meal I put on my favorite sweat top and my pink jammie bottoms and I felt much better. 

But later the next day I thought of it like this.

Think of this dust ball the enemy kicks up right in front of your face so your vision gets blurred and all you see is this gray powder in front of you….

Static:

The debris of doubt.

The particles of panic—fear!

The sand of severe loss.

The grit of grueling pain.

The fragments of faith lost.

I got this word picture a few years ago as I was in the midst of a “thud” that seemed to want to put me in the corner of my dreams left with gashes and bruises from a fight.

God said…“Theresa…that’s just the enemy kicking his heels up trying to fill the atmosphere in front of you with granules of filth accompanied by the foul smell of fear.”

Holy Spirit continued…“Just look around these things…look around and watch your blinded eyes become clear to the truth of who I say you are and what purpose I have called you to.”

Well, I went into this year supercharged with the theme “God Has Turned The Tide ..This Is The Year For Dreams To Come True” with your purpose and destiny.

Now, I will freely admit I have experience some static since the beginning of the year. Pain took on a new name as I fell face first half way down my stairs. Nothing was broken. All I could do for the first two weeks is thank God that NOTHING was broken.

I experienced trauma in the pain but was determined to not let it become drama seeping into my mind, will or emotions. This was more painful than bringing to birth two brilliant kids mind you. (Either that or I’m just a baby and needed an epidural).

The pain did not knock me out from going forward.  I had a few friends who prayed, asked God for help and learned the power of worship that kept my hope. The exciting thing for me to experience was even amidst the nagging aches and pains, my drive, mind, will and emotions stayed inspired and thrilled in my dreaming with God for the year ahead. 

So, have you come up against such static to seem to cloud your vision to what you know God has called you to for the days and months ahead. It’s like you know you have this Kingdom assignment with all the confirmations and declarations lining up….But…the static. 

Doggone it…the dang static.

Have you forgotten that Jesus is still asking you “What can I do for you”, like He said to the blind man who wanted to see.

The blind man sought Jesus out because of Jesus reputation in the testimonies of healing and hope.

Look at this in the Word…Mark 8:22.

“When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch the man and heal him.  “Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man’s eyes,

The Identity Series: Finding Your Voice In the Marketplace, Ministry, or as a MOM – #4

This was a special Identity Series on the Kingdom Mentor Podcast as I interviewed Sarah Bournique, the ASAP mom.

This podcast was simulcasted for the Kingdom Mentor Academy’s Redeem Your Voice Camp.

Before the interview I asked members to consider these thoughts (knowing by Holy Spirit that Sarah would have some answers).

The Reason?

Because I knew  the breakthroughs Sarah walked through were testimonies for God to “do it again.”

By the immediate response, I witnessed the truth of this divine thought.

So, before I asked questions, I shared these thoughts to consider:

It takes strength to find your voice.

Imperfect action is better than no action….consistent is key.

When you walk in your purpose people can see it.

You can share your voice and not get into the compare shame game.

Rebuilding is really about you going forward…. investment, steps, invest in yourself…. throwing up on paper, on camera, on your private space to be brave.

Your VOICE is needed. You are valuable. You are enough.

Finding Your Voice-Episode #103

I was thinking of you….as we go into another month of 2020. Have you lost it. Your dream. Your hopes. Your vision…your Voice? Yes, I’m talking about finding your voice.

I heard a quote by award winning musician and podcaster Cathy Heller…“It takes courage to find your voice.”

 

I briefly revisited the thoughts on “Finding Your Voice” from my own journey in the Word.

I remember the day. I was sitting with a hot cup of coffee under my blanket with my i-pad open reading the Word and then asking Holy Spirit earnestly….as I sipped the java awakening my soul…

 

Is there a KEY to unlock your Voice Lord?

I had begun The Redeem Your Voice Camp, a vital addition to my Kingdom Mentor Academy.

I did not want a rehashing from a book I read or trying to find the key in my own story.

So I asked.

 

In my lap was a 2nd Edition of the Passion Translations’ Song of Songs. As He is so faithful, Holy Spirit simply whispered:

 

“Read….You will find the answer.”

With great anticipation I began reading this little single book of this release of Song of Songs. As I pulled open the pages that were ragged and filled with underlines, highlights, and stained drops from jelly and coffee, I felt like I was having coffee with a best friend.

 

 Then my eyes landed on Chapter 2, down to verse 4 and there He whispered again….

 

 “Theresa, the key to unlock your voice is found in My House of Wine…” 

 

My heart became gripped by the revelation. I about spilled my coffee (again) as the excitement of reading this verse and the following: 

 

“Suddenly, He transported me Into His house of wine—I see His unfurled banner of victory Covering me. With His unrelenting love Divine. Revive me with Your goblet of wine, Refresh me again with Your sweet promises!” Song of Songs 2:4-5 tpt (2nd Edition)

 

From that place in the Word Holy Spirit started to spill out on my Mac keys words like these from the Vinedresser:

 

“My child, the season of broken barrenness and echoing darkness of your voice is over. I am near to heal the ravished places of your heart and bring you into My Presence which drips with an anointed salve to heal and make you whole…..

 

Did you know that your voice is His gift to you…?

 

“You are not stuck. Your lips do not have to be so attached to pain and shame that you cannot speak. It is time to release the brilliance I have deposited in your very DNA….”

 

When I close my eyes to picture in my mind this House of Wine, I saw a sign on the outside that says… “NO PERFORMANCE NEEDED TO ENTER!”

 

And then HE said something that has pierced my heart causing it to soar for you and the place YOUR VOICE plays out in life.

The Vinedresser said:

“You have a voice. You have a message. You have a testimony of breakthrough to release My children who have been chained by trespassed abuse and the enemy’s game of shame…”

“Invite them in to the House of Wine flowing inside you. Then show them how they too can wine and dine with the Vinedresser of their hearts…”

I have a short word on my heart for this episode that has to do with how to reset for 2020 as we focus on the actual word, ‘reset”. but first allow me to share a great review at for The Kingdom Mentor Podcast

This one from Gee Marie

She writes:

“One thing I love about Theresa is she isn’t afraid to face the mountains we ALL need to face in order to move forward in what God has called us to. So this word RESET came to me this morning as I actually was processing a stress dream I had. I usually have these golf dreams….as I once was a professional golfer, and I either miss my tee time or something strange happens where I can’t hit the golf ball.

I know me..and I know this represents a form of stress in my mind.

Put into practice listening a basic move to listen with my heart to see what Holy Spirit might be saying. I love this way to activate the prophetic.

The word I heard was reset….as I sat…heard this Holy Spirit Say RESET.

I thought instantly at the reset that connects to the foundation of my identity…who God made me to be. Who God says I a

Personally I felt the Lord speak to a couple of resets in my mind and soul.

For one, .I was creating new material and courses for the Kingdom Mentor Academy.

Now that is an enjoyable reset to lay down more  teaching on Redeeming Your Voice and being free from the drama of the trauma, to win the shame game. It concerns much of the basis of foundational issues so you can walk forward in your purpose.

This is a reset that I actually enjoy as I have to set up my recording studio to teach facing a camera.

But this particular reset had to do with The Marketing Specialist to help brands grow online with the CARE Strategy that i have in my business.

I needed some help in clarifying some issues… So God nudged me to reach out to one of my brilliant friends, Jayson Bellamy, of MonkeeMan Media,  who was featured in the 1st episode of my new section called, The Identity Series: Finding Your Voice In Business, Ministry , or at home….. You can search for #! The Identity Series and you can hear that…

So it means creating more courses for members in The Kingdom Mentor Academy!

Jayson helped me totally reset my thoughts on some things..which if you went even deeper was a soul health reset for me in regards to my business.

Reset For 2020

What’s the point of this…

What I hear is to not be afraid to ask. .. or invest in help whether that’s in time or finances…to get the help you may need in the moment.

I can think of issues… that want to come back up in this new year and grab you by the throat only to slam you down.
