Are you willing to throw away your work?
As difficult as it may seem, sometimes your path to purpose requires you to toss aside past accomplishments, drafts you have invested a lot of time on, and creations that may have cost you much to build.
Many individuals, starts, organizations, and big business with tons of resources failed to fulfill their new purpose because they were unwilling to throw away what was working, and sometimes even that which clearly isn't working. The reluctance is understandable. But, it is crazy, unwise, and often way more costly in the end.
Don't believe me?
Just ask the leaders of Blackberry who refused to throw away the physical keyboard on their product designs and a tsunami of smartphones with virtual keyboards overwhelmed their market share.
Likewise, the leadership of the now defunct Blockbuster would not throw away a business model that worked so that they could compete with RedBox and Netflix.
Listen to more examples and be encouraged to let go of that which is holding you back from realizing your full potential.
