In this episode, I break down the therapy side of Pro Counselors LLC — who I work with, what the work actually looks like, and why I chose the populations I did.

My focus is on young adults, emerging professionals, and counseling students — people who are navigating big transitions, figuring out who they are, and trying to hold it all together while doing it.

I built Pro Counselors LLC because your grad program prepares you to be a great therapist, but it just doesn't prepare you to get hired as one as an intern. That gap is real, and it's exactly what I work in.

In this episode of the Student Counselor Podcast, I take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey that began when I first started the podcast at the beginning of my Master’s program. From the highs of learning, growing, and connecting with so many of you, to the emotional rollercoaster of my graduation and beyond, this episode is a celebration of all we’ve accomplished together.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have tuned in, supported me, shared your stories, and helped build this vibrant community of students and emerging professionals. This podcast has been more than just a show for me—it’s been a space for me to learn, grow, and connect with others who share a passion for mental health and helping people succeed.

As I announce the end of this chapter, I’m filled with excitement for what’s to come. While the podcast is concluding, my journey doesn’t stop here. I’ll be launching a new consulting and private practice business in 2025, focused on supporting mental health students and emerging professionals. In this episode, I reflect on graduating with my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. From nearly not graduating high school to having a master’s degree, it’s surreal! It’s so important to follow your passion, as it leads to personal growth and success! I’m so grateful for the field of mental health and what it has given me.
