GET READY, I get a little preachy in this! I want what's best for you. In a perfect world, you'd be able to rock everything the first time without question. But in the world we live in, you need to learn from your setbacks and your mistakes. Life is going to throw its' punches at you in full force, and there isn't much you can do to stop it except get back up, dust yourself off, look your adversary in the face and say "that wasn't all that bad."
Courage isn't something that comes easily to all of us. Heck, most of us have trouble in situations where we need to be courageous. In this episode, I ask you to face your fear. What is it that scares you? What holds you back? Let's tackle this issue, together.
Grab your tissues, this episode is going to get deep. This episode of Student Fyre we discuss the struggles of growing up in a household without your biological father. I talk about the hardships of being the only black student in the school district and how theses struggles helped shape me into the speaker and person I am today. Just because you're put in an adverse situation does not by any means mean that you can't use it to become the best you that you're capable.
