Today’s episode is hosted by former Mt. SAC student Sierra Ruiz, who is a former student of her interviewee, Dr. Tania Anders, Professor of Geology and earth sciences. Our guest host Sierra graduated with her associate's in English in January of 2021, and transferred to Cal State Fullerton, with one year left to finish her Bachelor in English degree. 

You’ll hear Sierra talk about her experience as the lead facilitator of the Girls in STEM club for the Columbia Memorial Space Center. Also in this episode, Dr. Anders will help you grasp how to choose a path you’re passionate about, how cross disciplines can benefit each other and the classes you might take while at Mt.
