When it comes to publicity, sharing your music, news and tour dates, interviews can be one of the most fun and gratifying ways to spread the word - since they’re all about your biggest passion - you AND of course your music!

These days, for independent and emerging artists, there are more media sources looking to interview musicians than ever before. Magazines, e-zines, blogs, podcasts, radio, TV, YouTube, etc...they're all out there! It's awesome!

As an interviewee, you know you’ll either be providing a journalist with context and quotes for a story or you'll be doing an audio/video conversation.  You don’t want to just go on-air or get on the phone with a journalist or personality without having thought through some of the things you’ll talk about in advance.

In this educational episode of Studio B Podcast, we're joined by Logan Miller of Front Porch Music  + Media! He's their amazing founder, a talented writer and social media guru!  We talk all about how to give your best interviews for any outlet. From making generic question answers unique, to prepping for a question that you didn't see coming - we have you covered!  If you’re worried about an upcoming interview, here’s some advice to help ease the jitters and have you sounding professional, unique and calm!

A MASSIVE thank you to Logan Miller for joining this episode of Studio B! Make sure you check out Front Porch Music + Media on their website or on all social media platforms!
