We have been talking these last few days about Prayers and Miracles. I want you to understand that you need to base your prayers on the Word of God and ONLY the Word of God. Not on how you feel. Not on what you want someone else to do, etc. Stay out of witchcraft – which involves praying for someone else to “do something” or “give you something.” That is not of God, it’s of the devil – as we studied yesterday.

If you have a need for God to move in some area of your life, go to God’s Word and find out what it says about your situation.   Look it up…find out what the Bible actually says….not what you “think” it says….what it “actually” says.  Here is an example… “The man that spares the rod spoils the child.”  Have you heard that one?  Well, that’s not in the Bible!  What the Bible says is the “man who spares the rod – hates his child!”  There is a difference.   “Well, I guess I better go and beat that boy then.”  NO…God is not encouraging Child Abuse, either….go to the Word and find out how you are to raise your kids…God’s Word is very specific…  so – Go and read it yourself…find out what God is saying about your situations and use that Word in your prayers.

Look at Matthew 18:15.

If your brother offends you…don’t go blab it to the whole town or put it on Facebook or anything else…it says go to HIM…and if he does not want to hear what you have to say….then go and get two or three others…  “If I just tell you what he is saying…it is just me talking…so I need you to go with me…”  Then, pray in agreement…Jesus is in the midst of you then when you go up there….if he reacts the same way, doesn’t want to hear you, etc…then go to the church…that does not mean go blab it the church social, either…it means go to the church leadership, the elders…let them try to intercede.  

God is like that too, you know…He does not go blabbing stuff you have done all over town either…aren’t you glad about that!!!  But, go to the elders and make them aware of what is going on…Because this is affecting the fellowship and the prayer life of the church…then, Jesus said we are to treat him AS a heathen…it did not say he WAS a heathen…we are to treat him AS a heathen as far as our relationship with him…in other words – leave him alone…don’t interact with him…and don’t pray for him…leave him out of  your prayer life….don’t go “binding him” or anything else…remember – our warfare IS NOT against man – it is against the devil….remember that scripture?

The entire purpose is to get HIM to realize he (or she) needs God. Get them to the place where they, the Bible says, “come to themselves” and realize they need to repent and get right with God. 

Then and only then should they be welcomed back into the fellowship. 

Now we’ve been talking about prayer and miracles, right? Would you call that a miracle? When prayers were answered concerning a person who was running as fast as they could away from God – but came to themselves and repented and got back into right fellowship with God?

I would! Amen!

We have been talking these last few days about Prayers and Miracles and how they go hand in hand. Amen!  I pray your eyes are being opened to the fact that we are not supposed to living day by day dependent on God’s miracles to see us through! We should be walking with our Spiritual eyes opened and our Spiritual ears attuned to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit so we stay out of trouble and walk the path that God wants us on. Amen!

When you go to bed at night…and you are still awake…you should be praying…just lay down and praise God for the day you had, the peaceful night sleep and the day He is planning for you tomorrow! Amen!!!  But, I have to warn you…once you start praising Him…you may not go to sleep right away…! Remember the kiddie prayer you said as a child?

“Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. May the angels watch me through the night and wake me with the morning light. Amen!”

Well, Jesus said we should come to His Throne as little children…if you stop and think about that prayer…it was a good prayer….Later we will take up the study of the different kinds of prayer…but I want to remind you, again, that we are studying Prayer miracles…Prayer change THINGS - not people…Not prayer that changes God…we are studying prayer that changes THINGS. Amen!

Don’t get caught up in “tradition” during your prayer time.  Don’t get into the habit of quoting the same thing over and over and over during your prayers…it does not impress God.  Think about it from God’s perspective….sometime just sit back and look at it like you were God…would you be impressed with your prayer…probably not.  Think about it like a parent and your child comes in and just says the same thing, in the same order, with the same emotion, each and every day.... “Morning…what’s for breakfast…what time are we leaving for school…ok, bye..”  No emotion…no hugs…nothing…

You can’t do all of your “flowery” talk…all of your yakkity yack….it’s not impressing God and is not getting your prayers answered either…that’s why you are not seeing any results….rout memorization of scripture and saying it in prayer does not impress God.  Get out your Bible, find the scripture…and lift it to Him in Prayer…that’s what is called “returning His Word” to Him….for His Word does not return to Him void… it accomplishes what He pleases and always prospers where He sends it…”  amen!    So, ALWAYS…let me say that again in a way you can understand it…ALWAYS…base your prayers on what God has already said in His Word… and you WILL start to see your prayers being answered…you will start to see things happening that the world say, “It’s a miracle!” But you’ll be like – “No – It’s God!” Amen!

And I don’t mind telling you…there are about 99.9% of the churches out there that pray wrong…they are praying route prayers that are so general in nature, I don’t even think God claims them as His own. Amen! I don’t even ask them to pray for me…I won’t submit a prayer request to them because I don’t want them praying some weird thing over me…..amen!!!  I’m not saying that to be mean…I’m just very particular in who I want praying over me, my family, our ministry and situations we come against…I don’t want to get over into unbelief and witchcraft and other stuff that some of these churches get into during their prayer time….

“Unbelief…and Witchcraft brother Bob?”  Yes…

When they just pray rout prayers…there is no Faith in them…  it is just wasted air…and since there is not Faith with it…it is UNBELIEF….and when a prayer is prayed in Unbelief…it is of the devil…which empowers the devil to work….and since this type of prayer in unbelief alerted the devil to what areas I or someone else have requested prayer about…then he now knows his attack is being successful….so you don’t want someone or some church praying in unbelief over you do you? You want someone and some church praying effectively and annihilating the devil and stopping his attack...amen?

And witchcraft…is simply trying to manipulate PEOPLE into doing something… “Oh, God, I want you to tell sister so and so to give me her car…” “Oh God, I want you to tell my boss to give me a raise.”  Things like that… And when you get a church or a group of people praying like that, and saying, “in accordance with Matthew 18:19-20, we come into agreement…”  and the agreement is to move people, change people, things like that…that is not Faith either…it IS witchcraft….

Yesterday, we introduced the subject of “Prayer and Miracles.” We outlined the fact that a miracle is simply God imposing His will and actions in such a way that it overrides the natural order of things. Such as healing a broken arm in six seconds instead of six weeks. But when x-ray or an MRI is done, it looks just like an arm that had undergone the entire healing process. 

That was just one example. Amen!

But we also discussed that it is not a good way to live if you are dependent on miracles coming your way on a daily basis – especially if it is a result of you messing things up in the natural! 

Ok…Like I said, I believe in miracles…I believe in signs and wonders….I walk and believe according to Mark 16:15-21….but, we also need to look at Ephesians 6:16-18 and take OUR SHIELD OF FAITH and OUR SWORD OF THE SPIRIT and we should always be praying with all different kinds of prayer…all different manners of prayer.

We will be studying them…in Matthew we will see that the Prayer of Binding and Loosing is first, followed by the Prayer of Agreement….but, for clarity purposes…I want to start with the Prayer of Agreement…because I believe it will help you to grasp the rest…amen!

Ok, we are wearing God’s armor…praying always…every waking moment…I want you to remember our three basic points we started this series with:  

We do not try to get God’s attention with our prayers…

We do not try to change God with our prayers…

We DO communicate with God with our prayers so we can receive from Him what He has already said belongs to us.

Your prayer life should be your most consistent thing you do each and every day – all day long…because JESUS IS IN YOU!  He said that “he and the father will come and make their abode” in each and every believer….are you a believer?  If so, then GOD Himself and Jesus – is in you right now…everywhere you go, they go…everything you do – you are making them do….stop and think about the club you went to last night and who you went home with last night….if you are a believer…….hmmm…I’ll leave that alone for right now…but I want you to see this…that is why I said that decisions we make affect our lives….and if we stay in a constant state of communication with God through Prayer…we avoid a lot of things that have brought strife into our hearts…some people have gone to clubs and had bad things happen to them….diseases…rapes…murders…the list goes on and on…if they would have only NOT gone to the club…these things would not have happened.  I’m not saying these things to be mean…I just, again, want to bring to your attention that the decisions we make have ramifications that can last for years…. 

Thanks bet to God for the Blood of Jesus which cleanses us from ALL our sins…AMEN!  We are not under condemnation…we are under GRACE!  Amen!  If what I just said convicted you of your sin…REPENT!  Ask Jesus to forgive and to help you….amen!  I don’t know what you have gone through….I don’t need to know  and I don’t want to know…it is between you and God through Jesus….amen!!!  It is NOBODY else’s business either….just you and Jesus – Jesus washes it away…and leads you to the father….and the father sees nothing but Righteousness when He sees you…amen!!!

Prayer ought to be part of your life – continuously.  From the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night, you should be in a state of constant communication with God – all day long each and every day!

Go to Ephesians 6:10-18 which is the base foundation for our study in prayer…

You are the one who has to stand and speak to the devil…God is not going to do it for you, Jesus is not going to do it for you…they have already done all they are going to do…Jesus gave you His Name, His Power, His Authority to deal with the devil and He is expecting you to do so yourself.  Now, that is not to say, in certain situations, where you are about to be overwhelmed by demonic forces – Jesus might intervene to set the battlefield more evenly….as matter of fact, when that happens – we call it a “miracle.”  Miracles are nice…but, let’s take a quick look at what a miracle really is.

A miracle is God imposing His Will and Actions in such a way as to override the natural order of things….now, it may be awesome to have a miracle…and I have had a few in my life…more than a few…but, if a miracle is the sort of thing that God has to have move into your life because you have just totally screwed everything up and it is the only way He can try to restore some order…that’s “messed up.”  It is nice to have miracles…but wouldn’t it be a whole lot better and wouldn’t your life be more enjoyable…if you could live a Blessed Life without needing God to intervene all the time to do a miracle and clean up your messes? Amen!  I’m not trying to be mean here, just honest…I want you see this.

For example… Let’s say there is someone with a broken arm…the natural process of healing takes about 6 weeks or so….but, a miracle accelerates the actual healing process into about 6 seconds!!!  Same process – God just accelerates the time aspect!  Someone who is disabled, can’t walk…God heals them and accelerates the healing process – or starts it where it had stopped – and the person leaves walking….but God is the one who is moving… moving to FIX something that WE have messed up..

“Brother Bob, what could that person who is disabled could have done….?”  Well, in some cases – absolutely nothing…but in most cases…diabetes could have the basis…or some other disease…car accident, whether the persons fault or not…there as still some sort of “error” on “somebody’s” part…  that the end result, perhaps even years later, was this person being unable to walk.  And we need God to intervene.

Now, again, don’t get me wrong…I believe in miracles….I just want to get you to the point where you don’t need a miracle each and every day from God, just to fix mistakes you have made…..if I can get  you into a constant state of communication with God, you will receive insight into situations and you will avoid a lot of the mistakes you have been making…and you will not need a supernatural visitation to fix things…suddenly – things will begin to work in your behalf, where before it seemed like everything was going wrong….amen!!!

We have been studying about “Our Rights Under Prayer” these past weeks. Yesterday, we established the fact that when we are born again, WE ARE the seed of Abraham. Amen!  But, much more than that, we also have something that the world does not have. We become CHILDREN of the Most High God! We have a Covenant with God our Father that comes through only through Christ Jesus. 

Are YOU  Abraham’s seed?  YES!  Are you a Child of God? YES! Well, if that is the case…you ought to be delivered from whatever the devil is trying to bring on you!  Don’t let that fool try and trick you into “suffering for God.”  God doesn’t want you to “suffer” for Him!  He sent Jesus to “suffer for YOU.”  And there is no more “suffering” to do!  If there was…that means Jesus did not “suffer” enough.  And if he did not “suffer enough,”  that means there is still some sin out there that we have not been delivered from…and which means there is still sin out there that we have to go to hell over…which means our salvation is not guaranteed!  But that is NOT the case.  Jesus paid it ALL!  AMEN!

So, we have established the fact that God sent Jesus to pay the entire sin debt.  Nothing is left over on our accounting books to be paid by us… that means we are NOW in a “right” relationship with our Heavenly Father and our big brother – Jesus!  Which means their ears are open and listening to what we are saying and listening for our prayers….

These last few days, I’ve been going WAY over my time that I’m supposed to be keeping these teachings to. So I’m just going to give you the scripture references that I would normally use in a deeper teaching on this subject. You go and look them up. That’s part of your homework assignment, amen!  I’ll just summarize them for you in this teaching series, except when I want to make a specific point. Amen!

So go to 1 Peter 3:12 and see that God is LISTENING for YOU.   What is He listening for you to do?  PRAY!

And the promise that God is going to listen to your prayers is not just to a select few.  It is not just to those who “live right.”  Although God is not obligated to answer the prayers of the unrighteous…if you have been living that way and want to change…to repent…to accept Jesus as your Lord and ask for the forgiveness of your sins and then ask Him to clean up the mess you made…He will.  But, if you are a born again believer…you have a right to make a prayer request to your Father and expect Him to answer it.  He promised He would!!!

Go look at Romans 4:16…the promise is sure to ALL the seed! By Grace…which means by God’s FAVOR!  It does not matter who the BELIEVER is…smart or dumb; educated or not; black, white, yellow or red…it makes not difference to God…he is not a respecter of persons… He gives His righteousness to YOU…He gives to YOU right standing in His eyes.  You are a bought SON or DAUGHTER with the blood of Jesus…He counts that blood as precious and He counts YOU as precious.  Just like you would give your kids something they need if they ask you….He gives you the things you need if you ask Him…  “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and ALL these ‘things’ will be added to YOU,”  Jesus said…

In Romans 5:17, we are told there was enough death to go around…so much so that they thought it was over…but GOD…says His Grace abounds to much MORE than that.  His Righteousness is His GIFT… you can’t buy and you can’t earn it…you can’t get good enough in God’s eyes where it is something you earned…it is a GIFT.  And if it is a gift…what do you say to someone who “gives” you something…THANK YOU…that’s all you have to do…start praising God for giving you the gift..the answered prayer you have asked Him for.

So, back in 1 Peter 3:12 – the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous…and His ears are open to their cries…he is listening for your prayers to Him… God is waiting for someone to use the name and authority of Jesus in prayer.

And if that someone is YOU – He says He will answer your prayers. Not just answer them – but will answer them SPEEDILY! Praise God!

We have been studying about “Our Rights Under Prayer” these last few days.  We have something that the world does not have. We have a Covenant with God our Father that comes through only through Christ Jesus. We need to understand what God the Father has to say about our Covenant with Jesus! Amen!

How do we know that God said it?  We have to go to His Word….so let’s do that….

First, you have to believe in the Covenant the way Jesus believed in the Covenant…the way Abraham believed in the Covenant… the way God BELIEVES in the Covenant….it is NOT just a one sided deal!  God established the Covenant with man and with Abraham so that “Whosoever believes…” is able to enter the Covenant.  And when a Covenant person does what the Covenant requires and refused to compromise….they receive what the Covenant says they can have.

Go to Luke 13:16 and see how Jesus operates in this Covenant for the benefit of someone else…even when the religious leaders of the day said “you are not supposed to believe that way…”

This woman was a daughter (or descendant) of Abraham.  She was a Covenant person.  Which means any one of those so called preachers in her day could have prayed for her healing before God and God would have honored their prayer…but didn’t.  Jesus did.  And he (and she) got the results.  Which means SHE BELIEVED she was supposed to be healed.  She probably believed it all along…but NOBODY joined their faith to hers in agreement and interceded on her behalf to God…so they just left her to suffer…until Jesus showed up one day…

If you go now to Galatians 3:13-14, 29…you can see what this means for you and I today.

You DID not receive your salvation UNTIL the moment you “heard the Gospel and Believed it.”  You may have “heard” the same scripture and the same Gospel your entire life…but “one day” your heart and your spirit man and your intellect and your mind all synched up for one moment of time….and the spirit man “heard” the Gospel and the mind reasoned it out and said  “YEAH!”   And YOU BELIEVED!  And when you believed – you got saved!  And when you got saved – you entered into covenant with Jesus.  And when you entered into covenant with Jesus – you entered into covenant with God the Father.  And when you entered into covenant with God the Father – you put yourself into position to be BLESSED!  AMEN!!!

So, you have to go to what God said and put IT as first place and primary authority in your life.  You cannot put God’s Word as second place or a lower priority than ANYTHING else…not work, not family, not watching TV – NOT ANYTHING.

Receiving is the Key – and you have to come to the point that you realize “you have the RIGHT TO BELIEVE.”  The “right to believe” that Jesus is Lord over your life.  The right to believe that HE already defeated the devil that is bugging you right now.  The right to believe that JESUS will “hear your prayers and answer your prayers.”  

Once you do that, you have the same rights to receive ALL your needs being met – according to God’s RICHES in Glory….by and through Christ Jesus!  AMEN!

Jesus has already come to this earth to meet  your needs.  He came here and DIED here to meet your needs. 

He came here, died here and then ROSE from the dead, to meet your needs.  

Jesus came here, died here and rose from the dead, walked here among men and then ascended into Heaven – in order to meet your needs.  

Jesus came here, died here, rose from the dead here, walked here among men and ascended into Heaven and has sat down at the right hand of the Father, so He can lean over and make intercession for YOUR NEEDS TO BE MET!  

He said “WHOSOEVER WILL” believe this can receive this…..that’s YOU!

Go to Luke 13:15-16

“Since she is the daughter of Abraham, shouldn’t she be loosed?”  she is in covenant.

Galatians 3:13-14.29

If you belong to Jesus, then you are the seed of Abraham and you have the “right” to believe.

You have the “right” to BELIEVE….

Don’t let the devil try to tell you, “you don’t REALLY believe that, do you?”  That’s the trick he worked on Eve and has been working ever since on mankind.  Don’t fall for it…you tell him – I BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD, especially the part, Mr. Devil, where Jesus beat your brains out – NOW GET OUT OF HERE, in the Name of Jesus! 

If you want to walk in that kind of confidence.  If you want to BELIEVE like that, let’s start with the most important decision you will ever make….Believe you receive your covenant standing with Jesus – and through Him – your covenant standing with the Father.

We have been talking about “Our Rights Under Prayer” and how important it is that we understand our rights. Just like knowing what are rights are under the Constitution of the United States, we need to know our rights Under Heaven as it concerns prayer as well.

Genesis chp 2 talks about the Blessing of the Lord and how He gave us a command to “Have Dominion” over all of creation!  But yet, we allow others and we allow circumstances to have dominion over us!  It’s NOT supposed to be like that.

Most people, when they pray, they are trying to make deals with God.  They will pray things like, “If you Bless me – then I will do this and that…”  But that’s backwards!

Find out what God wants you to do – then do it!  Then the Blessing comes upon you and overtakes you….that is what the Blessing is designed to do and how it is designed to work.  For example:  your kids are hungry.  The bread is at the store.  You can say…” I know there is bread at the store.  I know you are hungry.  Someday, if you are really good, perhaps the bread will come to us from the store.”   NO!  You go TO the store – obtain the bread – then feed the kids.  You don’t start by trying to “be good” and “hope” the bread comes to you.  You must put forth the effort to go and get it!  Amen!

Go to 3 John 2

God wants you well, spirit, soul and body.  He wants to Bless you.  And YOU want to be Blessed – right?  So, you need to find out what God says you should do – and do it!  Then, you WILL be Blessed – you have His Word on it!  And God is not a man that He should lie!

Read Matthew21:21-22; Mark 11:24; Luke 18:1

Our struggle is not with God – God is the answer to the problem…not THE Problem!  What would be the use of praying always if could not obtain what we are always praying about?

You can’t get “good enough” to “get” God to answer  your prayers.  Our prayer life is based upon our covenant with Jesus.  Period!  Nothing else!  It is because of Jesus that God will answer our prayers.  It is because of “Good” Jesus was and is.  Not because of how “good” we try to be.  It is because we have entered into covenant with JESUS and God has entered into covenant with Jesus – so therefore WE have covenant with God!

The KEY to all of this – the common denominator in the whole thing – is in BELIEVING.  Believing in our covenant.  Believing in Jesus. Believing in what HE did for US.  Believing that the price of our sin has been paid – in full.  Believing the God will honor His Word, His Promise to Jesus – that He will Bless those who Bless Jesus – how do we do that?  By doing what He told us to do – BELIEVE!

That is all we have to do!  Believe!  “But, brother Bob, I just don’t know if I can do that. You don’t know what my finances are like…you don’t know what the doctor told me was wrong…you don’t know…you don’t know….you don’t know”  YOUR RIGHT!  I don’t know…but I DO KNOW who has the answer you are looking for!  JESUS!

But, you can only know what to believe FOR if you know what the person you are believing has said.  You can only know what they said if you talk to them.  You did not receive Jesus as  your Lord and Savior UNTIL you BELIEVED what God said about Jesus and what He did on the cross.

We have been talking about our blood bought RIGHT to pray and to expect results.  I pray you are getting a lot out of this in-depth teaching on prayer. I know I am. Praise God!

God will bless you financially or with whatever “stuff” you need…If He said He would do something – and put it in writing – you can best believe He will live up to His end of the contract.  But it is just that – a contract.  Which means, “if you do this, I will do that.”  Are you holding up your end?

God said He would meet our needs.  He said He would Bless us…but with the Blessing comes persecutions.  As long as you are quiet and remaining “humble and poor,”  people have no problems with you… but when become vocal and Blessed  and prosperous – they start to talk about you…!

What I say is, “Let them talk!”  Praise God!  You are being a witness for Jesus! Amen!

Remember, whoever controls the money controls the world.  Look at the business culture in the US.  Look at what is being taught in schools….The companies that have the money control what is being taught in schools.  “Oh, brother Bob, I thought the government had control over that?”  Yes, they do…but who are the big donors to these politicians?  Look at the printing companies.  For the sake of the almighty dollar – you can see who is in love with money – they are the ones who compromise and print pornography, etc.

We are going to get into some exciting stuff now in these last few minutes.  We will be getting into some details that might make some of you mad…too bad!  You have to get everything we have been studying up to now – and use it as a solid foundation for all the different types of prayers will be studying soon.  The prayer of petition; prayer of supplication; prayer of intercession; prayer of healing, finances and blessings; prayers of binding and loosing, etc.

First, God’s Will is His Word.  You cannot have faith in anything you are asking and believing God for – if you do not know His Word or His Will.  “I don’t know if it’s God’s will to heal me, brother Bob.”  Well, if it’s not His will to heal you – why are fighting against God?  Why are you going to the doctor’s office and spending all that money?  Why don’t you just go lay down and die and be in God’s perfect will?  WHY??? Because you know it is not God’s will for you to die – that’s why you are trying to get well….but who are placing your faith in, God or Man?

If you did not believe in getting healed, you should not even take an aspirin when you have a headache!  Now, as silly as that sounds…it is the truth.  God sent Jesus to the cross to bear our sicknesses…and He took ALL of them.  There is no sickness or headache or stomach ache that He cannot remove from you – he bore them all in His body on the cross.

Folks, we need to learn how to roll the cares of this world over on the Lord…don’t hold onto them.  Let Him have them and then enter into His rest.  Hebrews 4:11-12…rest in God and rely on His power instead of our weaknesses.

So, how should God’s people pray?  What is God’s will concerning “things” or “money” etc.  Well, before we get into a study about that…I want to state unequivocally my position on this.  I want to make this absolutely clear…this is being recorded – so I am putting my position out there up front.

I don’t want you to think I am going to talk about money and finances because I want you to give into this ministry for selfish reasons.  Far be it from that.  If some other ministries operate that way and abused their partners, etc. in that manner – that is  between God and them…but you do not meet my needs…I meet my needs.  I meet them through my giving to God, not by you giving to me.

The past 11 years I have been broadcasting, I have intentionally avoided any strong teaching in this area.  We have “brushed” up against it a couple of times…but never really gotten into a deep study on giving….just for the reason that some people would think I was doing this to get money…and that just is not the case.

Some people will say, “Money is the root of all evil.”  And that statement would be totally wrong.  Money is not evil in and of itself.  God has established money as the “thing” that allows his people to transact business in the world system to meet our needs and the needs of other people.  It is the “love of money” that is the root of all evil.  So – just from that one example – find out what the Bible really says about any situation before you go spouting your mouth off.
