Studying In The Word with Minister Michelle Carter-Douglass

Greetings People of God. In tonight's Bible study, we look into the reasons we find persecution and trials in the world today.

Brothers Patrick and Brialan Douglass offer their prayers for the people of God and those enduring the storms. Sisters Patricia Carter, Nicole Carter, and Arlessa R. Douglass share their prayers for the comforting and encouragement of the people today.

Readings for next week are Job chapter 2, Genesis chapter 3, and Exodus chapters 7-11.

We are imperfect people serving a perfect God Almighty. Nonetheless, we can never allow our imperfections to get in the way of serving Him.  Sometimes people become comfortable in their sin.  In Jeremiah chapter 43, we see that the people became so comfortable in their sin, that they refused to Hear The Word of God given to them by the Prophet.

The Bible study today is out of the book Thinking Outside The Plantation. This segment continues Chapter 1, "The Plantation Origin: The People of God Shall Be Free.

On the path to success, we find many adversities. What and to whom can be the stumbling blocks? Are we being spiritually punished for some things or, is something or someone trying to hinder us from receiving Almighty God's blessings?

Thinking Outside The Plantations is based on the Evidence-based Perspective.
