My Dad, Richard Peek (on YouTube as rpeek) came to visit and help me build a big back deck with a pergola. We are hard at work building this deck and I asked if he'd join me to do a podcast. We talk about his Dad, Charles Peek, and how he interrupted a wrestling match to make things fair. We talk about my Mom's Dad, Frank Tanksley, how he interrupted a wrestling event to defend his grandkids from the heel of the match. We discuss a bunch of silliness including how I think Merlin was a mullet time traveller with fireworks and we wrap it up by giving shout outs to several YouTubers including bigdaddy1992 who is a podcast fan and sent me a sticker promoting his YouTube channel. Lots of things to fix today, got the toilet fixed, door gasket replaced, and deck foundation footers inspected and good to go. Watched 3rd season of Man In The High Castle on Amazon Prime and started watching Travels With My Father on Netflix. Good stuff!!

There's so much going on with malicious intent, I just wish people would treat each other better. I can't relate to people who cry as victims and do nothing in their lives. Take charge of your life, get active. If you feel like politics are ruining your life, get involved! If you're a victim, do something about it. Just don't be-little each other when you have a difference of opinion. Kavanaugh is just an example of how we should be "innocent until PROVEN guilty". Do I like the guy? I don't know him. Is he a tool for overturning Roe Vs. Wade? I don't know. I personally think men shouldn't have an opinion on it.

Rest in peace Sgt. Terrence Carroway. You truly served and protected the people of Florence South Carolina, and you died in service of those people. I salute you sir. Your watch has ended, but your memory will not.

Yes folks, it's sober Octobert, as they call it. Check out the Joe Rogan Experience with Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, and Ari Shaffir doing the sober challenge. The YouTube version is great because their facial expressions are priceless. I'm building the back deck soon. I talk about it on this podcast but I just got done speaking with the HOA president and it's all good.

Yes we have it all in here, talking about "Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life". The lie and the truth of it all. My buddy Greg Steele calls in and we talk about smoking meat on our pellet grills. I round it out with a Netflix show I love, Restoration Garage, Rust to Riches. It's great!
